The place is very welcoming and the staff is very kind and pacient, leaving you to be as creative with your piece as you want but also helping when required, making sure that what you create is as you envisioned it.

Make your own pottery! In my two weeks in Madeira I came here for 2-3 hours every day to create with clay. The ladies who work here are lovely and will help you create whatever you want (mug, bowl, vase, sculpture, etc). I recommend coming at the beginning of your trip, so that you potentially have time to come again and/or pickup your pottery...
