Praia do Pintadinho — Attraction in Lagoa

Lovely quiet beach without too much of a hike from where you can park. Loungers and shades for 8 euros for half a day, 10 for the day. Or bring your own umbrella and towel to sit on as the local villa owners do. Restaurant on the beach. Mostly fresh fish which is not cheap, but omelettes and burgers too (with fried eggs on top, no bun!). So easy for drinks and ice creams. The loo had no lock and was disgusting. Very clean and very big beach to hang around and swim. If you want to sunbath, perfect. If you want to play frisbee with your friends, perfect. If you just want to hang around and listen to the waves, perfect. Such satisfying thing to stay until 8pm and watch the ebb and flow throughout the day. Would definetly suggest the beach...

Great beach to watch the sunset or enjoy a swim in the ocean! The waves are pretty calm and you have a great view over the rocks, the sea and the city. There are a couple parking spots available, but I recommend you arrive earlier when it’s the high season. The restaurant Edd’s also has parking spots available...
