Praia do Molhe — Attraction in Lagoa

Nice beach with a good view from the top. The stairs are in good condition and it is not far walking from the parking lot. The beach is tiny, so there is not a lot of space to put your stuff if you swim. Also the sand is very soft and if you step on it close to the water your feet sinks 30 to 40 cm, it resembles a bit quicksand. There is many people surfing on the beach not within the harbor dam. I mean, is there even such a thing as an ugly beach in Portugal? 😂 Found this one while driving aimlessly looking for a "quieter" beach to enjoy in the busy peak season. 4 starts coz It's really tiny, but charming & had a long harbour walk out into the sea which looked pretty awesome. found parking super easy. Ended up going to the beach next door as it was bigger and had a cool cave, where we were surprised with a stunning sunset. There was somewhere to buy refreshments...

Praia espectacular para levar a família toda. Tem um acesso por escadas que não são recomendadas a pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade. Nesses casos aconselho a praia ao lado (Pintadinho) ou Praia Grande e Caneiros. A praia do molhe é uma praia em que se pode escolher tomar banho do lado do oceano ou do lado do rio sendo muito bom em dias de alguma ondulação mais forte mas em que os pequenos podem divertir-se do lado do rio. A praia é pequena principalmente quando a maré está cheia mas nunca vi ninguém a ir embora por falta de espaço. É uma das praias que frequento com miita regularidade tanto no verão como nas outras estações apenas para passeio.
