EDDS Beach — Restaurant in Lagoa

Update; when we visited in September 2025 the music license had been revoked, this is not an issue in itself but when we visit for the music/DJ it's rather disappointing. More for the benefit of future visitors, I'd double check the music situation prior to your visit if this is important to you.

As a note I feel the staff should alert patrons to the fact there is zero music, including background music, prior to them visiting for the whole day - it's a little underhand not to alert people of the issue. We paid €120 for beds for the day and had no warning of the DJ not being on, we'd have only stopped for lunch if we'd have known.

I still enjoy the concept of Edds and my below review still stands when the venue is in full operating capacity, the above service isn't satisfactory though.

Really enjoyed both of our trips to this chilled beach club.

It has been decorated very well and suits the area. Ultimate zen makes you feel comfortable during your visit along with friendly and helpful staff.

There are 3 main areas; pool and beds, bar area and dining area. All are spacious and comfortable.

We visited for a "beach" day with lunch and then on a Saturday for the live DJ to dance the night away.

The drink selection is extensive with some great wines too. The food menu while fairly small offers a dish to suit most crowds. Our food was of good quality and presented well.

Thoroughly recommend this place and we will be returning when we are back...

We arrived at 11:30 and were told that there were no sunbeds available, only the VIP area with a large bed for €100, which we ended up renting. After about 30 minutes, we went for lunch with some friends I had invited. The food was excellent — nothing to point out there. However, from that moment on, the experience became very disappointing. When I finished lunch, I needed to leave with my friend, while my girlfriend was supposed to stay with his wife. To our surprise, we were told that if I left and she stayed, we would have to pay another €100. This is, in my opinion, a shameful attitude. Even worse: I was not allowed to stay with my partner on the sunbeds because they claimed it was full. Yet, at 3 p.m., the area was still empty, and they still refused — unless we paid extra. It is very disappointing to see a place with so much potential adopting such practices, prioritizing short-term profit over customer satisfaction and loyalty. I visited the venue also because I manage 40 holiday rental houses in the Algarve and was looking for a beach club to recommend to my guests. After this experience, not only will I never return, but I will certainly not recommend it to...

I had a delicious lunch at this place, next to the beach. Me and my girlfriend were ready for a quick lunch, which turned into an almost high-end dinner, in cozy inviroment. Service was on point: friendly tone, great people skills and good situational awareness all over.

Full of flavour: The food was well seasoned. Portionsize perfect and price as well. Great menu choices We had the burratta, baba ganoush, croucettas and the homemade bread and smoked butter. 👌

Atmosphere was perfect for the place, which had a nice pool area and a pool bar next to the dinner area. Low-key house music

Great combination of all they had to offer and a definite must try. I haven't been eating at the next door neighbours/competition, but this place I can highly recommend if you are into prime quality over...
