I was here with friends, who live on the Algarve. It was their recommendation, and it was an excellent one. We had booked a table in the winter garden, to enjoy the stunning view from here. If I could give 6 stars for ambience, I would give it just for that. The "Kuvert" came without being ordered, even before we had ordered, and for me it wasn't worth the money. Some cheese from industry production, a few olives, a bit of bread, that was it. Thank God it was the only point for critique, our meals (fish and meat) were excellent. The wine was a good companion to the fish, we followed the recommendation of the kind and attentive staff. All in all a wonderful evening and the right thing to do to set a highlight to a visit...

Although its in a very good location unfortunately like many Portuguese owned restaurants and bars the owners are clueless, my wife and I thaught that it was a perfect place to have a drink as it is set high on the cliff overlooking Portimao you have an unspoilt view of the city and the bay. Firstly the 1 waiter that was there was rude and definately did not know his craft I had to go place my order as he did not come to the table, the food is way overpriced and nothing extraordinary and the prices on the drinks menu well it goes without saying and that was probably why there was only one couple for lunch. My opinion...

Overall: Overpriced, but still a decent option and a great view.

The good: The grilled squid was great as were the drinks that we ordered. Their pastel de nata was also surprisingly good. View was great, and they have plenty of umbrellas for shade.

The not-so-good: There's nothing extraordinary about the food to make it cost seemingly twice as much as other options. You pay for the view. Potatoes were very oily. Service was very, very slow. We enjoyed the view and it was relaxing, but we were there longer than we would've wanted. Wifi didn't work either.

Food/drink: 7.5/10 Atmosphere:...

What a wonderful restaurant with fantastic views. The staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating but appeared overwhelmed by large amounts of customers. The food is mouth watering with great portions. They do a great sangria too. The only complaint I would have is the children had their meals pretty quickly but had finished before the adults had been served so they were sat waiting for us to eat. Otherwise I would highly recommend a visit here but be aware it is on the pricier side and is a smaller restaurant. There is outside seating.
