Afrodite Aesthetic Clinic — Attraction in Bucharest

I really do not understand where the good reviews come from, but I sure wish I would have read the manny bad ones. I went for 3 areas Botox, while there I’ve asked about the Russian lip augmentation technique that they have advertised. The doctor (Bashar) told me that’s “just some thing Russians invented” but I should have a better filler if I was to do it, like juvederm. Having had Juvederm injected successfully years before (3 times) , I’ve decided I would do it and the doctor said he could do it on the spot. I’ve said I’d like just a little filler, he advised not to use 1ml but 0.6 (which will be charged as 1ml because it was over 0.5). I have agreed saying that he must know better. Next day I was swelled and bruised like nothing I’ve seen before, I’ve panicked at the thought of necrosis and called them, they said to come over for a doctor to see me. I have requested the doctor’s contact, they said they don’t even have their contact and doctors are not to be disturbed, also that there are patients scheduled before me and I’d be seeing a doctor after them. I have arrived there, there were 4 others waiting, no one was seen for 40 minutes. Finally a doctor arrived and had a look at me told me I’m ok. Well, at least I didn’t had necrosis. Two weeks later, I am so unhappy with my lips, filler has been injected above my upper lip and it looks stupid, with my whole upper area being bulged. The Botox had 0 effect, is like they injected water. I’ve had an eye infection after the procedure.

Dear clinic, I have had cosmetic procedures, Botox, plastic surgery etc. in 6 different countries, I have never heard of a doctor not being available for contact especially if something goes wrong. Also, nothing went wrong, until you, you did everything wrong.

I have called the clinic telling them about my issues and I have requested a refund for the Botox procedure, as clearly had no result (I did not requested a refund for the lip filler). I was told no, and that is because I can’t come to a Botox retouch. I did told them before I won’t be able to as I won’t be in the country.

Here I attach pictures, 1 of my lips before, my lips bruised after, and the duck one is for the final result 2 weeks after. As seen, Botox is not up for a retouch either, it’s up for a whole new treatment.

I did not read all the reviews, I was also time pressured because of traveling. Please don’t do the same mistake, do not let this people do...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Me and my partner we went to Afrodite for botox. The doctor tried to make me inject 3 zones meanwhile she saw I didn’t need it at all (happily enough I didn’t fall for it). But my partner chose the 3-zones botox. After the first session, she told us to come back in 2 weeks ONLY if needed. Less than 3 weeks passed, we saw NO effect at ALL! After contacting them, they said to go back. When we went back, the doctor was very shocked by the fact that there was NO effect at all! Then, she started acting so annoyed, (in a very impolite way) like is our mistake that the botox didn’t work. After she was like: I think this botox we ordered last time was not good (the previous time she kept telling us this was the best botox that existed!!!!). Then she said she will do the whole procedure again! (So imagine another time of suffering from pain and redness). After she finished, she said to wait again 2 weeks and we will see the results.. Terrible customer service. I’ve been back a few times only because I didn’t want to go through the effort of finding a new place for the same laser treatment. Twice I booked online and when I arrived they had no idea who I was despite me having emails confirming my appointments. Today was the final straw as I specifically called to make sure I would have one. Firstly I get a call afterwards asking me to please make it 12:30 instead of 12. I agree and arrive on time only to be told to wait which I again do politely. 30 minutes pass and no one says a word or even looks at me. At this point I had had enough and went to talk to the receptionist only to be informed that that “had apologized” with attitude. I will never go back and now need to find a new place.
