Rezumat: salata veche, rosii cherry stricate, chelneri foarte agresivi, si un miros puternic de urina la toaleta. Pofta buna.
We reserved a table for 7 + 2yo kid. After ordering, we kindly asked the waiter if there s anything they can prepare for the kid. The answer was a simple NO and he turned around ... I followed him asking him if he can ask the Chef if he can prepare some boiled vegetables and blend them, he told me " we dont have that in the menue" ... I asked him to ask the Chef, and he said " I will but he wont do it: ... and he didnt. We ordered a menue soup for the kid and this problem was solved. I ordered a 20eur beef, and it came with an old salad ( that kind of rucola you keep for 6 days in the fridge and it turns from bright green into a strange brown .. ) with old onions ( check the pictures please). The side cherry tomatoes were old and almost stinky. After checking the bathroom which had a STRONG smell of urine, we decided to not complain about the food, just pay and leave. ( if the bathroom is that dirty, I can t imagine how the kitchen is). While leaving I mentioned I m going to review about this things, maybe they can take them in consideration this way and improve. I was surprised to receive a phone call a 9pm Sunday(???) from their general manager, keeping me busy with a copy/paste texts about their top quality food and the incident we assisted on. Well, I asked him if the urine smell and the old rotten salad in all the plates is an incident. This is a chain restaurants that wants to maximise profit with strong PR and media and lowest food quality. So if you want to pay 20eur for a their good PR and their facebook adds, check this...
Read moreIn my experience so far, Buongiorno is an average place in terms of Italian food. I've just had their lasagna, which is reasonable but not impressive in any way. The ragu is probably pork from the flavor, and is decent, but the issue is the lasagna sheets are cooked for quite a long time, and therefore are very soft, which is not to my taste. You can find frozen lasagna in a grocery store that comes close in flavor and texture to the one they serve. It's closer to airplane food than to something you would make at home. Portion size is on the larger side, so if you're looking for bigger portions this is a good place to visit. It's reasonably priced and service is quick, so it's a good place for lunch I think. Personally, when I visit a restaurant, I like to be served something that is above what I am capable of cooking myself, and this is nowhere near that. If you're looking for a quick lunch, it's a resonable option. If you're looking for great Italian food, this...
Read moreDefinitely the worst meal I've had in years! I ordered "Gamberi con salsa dolce leggermente piccante" and I got an enormous plate wit lots of three days old salad as decoration and 8 small and not very fresh shrimps in the middle. As if was not enough, some ready made bottled chinese sauce was poured over all of this to complete the taste! My friend had a pizza "quattro formaggi": all the four cheeses were mixed together and served on a dough that seemed to have been bought in the nearest supermarket a week before that. The wine was warm and the service extremely unfriendly and slow. And for this atrocity we payed the same price as a day before for an excellent and very substancial meal in the old center! And, as we all know, surprises always come in the end: a waiter even protested, because we decided not to leave any tip. Trattoria Buongiorno, I advise you to change your name to "trattoria...
