Annunciation Cathedral — Attraction in Tverskoy District

The Cathedral of the Annunciation is a truly beautiful Russian Orthodox church dedicated to the Annunciation of the Theotokos (a title of Mary, mother of Jesus, used especially in Eastern Christianity). The stunning Cathedral is located on the southwest side of Cathedral Square inside the Kremlin in Russia, where it directly connects to the main buildings of the Grand Kremlin Palace, adjacent to the Palace of Facets. It was originally the personal chapel for Moscows tsars, The abbot from the Cathedral remained a personal confessor of the Russian royal family until 1917. The opportunity to have visited this exquisite Cathedral was terrific!

Благовещенский собор является действительно красивая русская православная церковь, посвященная Благовещенского (христианским празднованием объявления ангел Гавриил к Деве Марии, что она зачнет и стать матерью Иисуса, Сына Божия) Божией Матери ( титул Марии, матери Иисуса, особенно используется в восточном христианстве). Ошеломляющий собор расположен на юго-западной стороне Соборной площади в Кремле в России, где он напрямую соединяется с основными зданиями Большого Кремлевского дворца, рядом с Грановитой. Первоначально она была личная часовня для Moscows царей, Настоятель от собора остался личный духовник русской царской семьи до 1917 года возможность посетили этот изысканный собор был потрясающим!

Die Kathedrale der Verkündigung ist eine wirklich schöne russisch-orthodoxen Kirche zur Verkündigung (Christian Feier der Ankündigung durch den Engel Gabriel an die Jungfrau Maria, dass sie die Mutter von Jesus empfangen und werden würde, der Sohn Gottes) gewidmet von der Gottesgebärerin ( ein Titel von Maria, der Mutter Jesu, die vor allem in östlichen Christentums). Die beeindruckende Kathedrale befindet sich in Russland im Kreml auf der südwestlichen Seite der Domplatz, wo es eine direkte Verbindung zu den wichtigsten Bauten des Grand Kremlin Palace, direkt neben dem Palast der Facetten. Es war ursprünglich die persönliche Kapelle für Moscows tsars, der Abt von der Kathedrale blieb eine persönliche Beichtvater der russischen Königsfamilie bis 1917 die Möglichkeit haben, diese exquisite Dom besucht war grandios!

La cathédrale de l'Annonciation est une très belle église orthodoxe russe dédiée à l'Annonciation (fête chrétienne de l'annonce faite par l'ange Gabriel à la Vierge Marie qu'elle concevrait et devenir la mère de Jésus, le Fils de Dieu) de la Théotokos ( un titre de Marie, mère de Jésus, utilisé notamment dans le christianisme oriental). La magnifique cathédrale est située sur le côté sud-ouest de la place de la cathédrale à l'intérieur du Kremlin en Russie, où il se connecte directement aux principaux bâtiments du Grand Palais du Kremlin, à côté du Palais de Facets. The Cathedral of the Annunciation is one of the impressive churches that can be visited at the Kremlin in Moscow. Commissioned by Ivan III in 1484 as a Royal Chapel, this is a beautiful church to see. Entrance is included with the general 'Cathedral Square' ticket for the Kremlin.

This church is located on the southern side of Cathedral Square in the Kremlin. The entrance is across from the Cathedral of the Archangel. The exterior is similar to that of other churches on the square, highlighted by golden domes topped with crosses.

The interior of the Cathedral of the Annunciation is smaller than others on the square but it remains impressive with heavily frescos walls and pillars as well as an decorative iconostasis that is worth some time to view. A handful of historic icon paintings and other religious items worth spending a few minutes to enjoy are on display as well.

Note: There are information sheets in multiple languages that you can use during your visit to the church. This can be useful for identifying the many highlighted items of interest within the Cathedral of the Annunciation.

Overall, we found the Cathedral of the Annunciation to be a nice inclusion to the group of cathedral visits at the Kremlin. While not our favourite the attractions visited here, we did enjoy our 15 minutes viewing the inside of the cathedral. It is worth...

Σε αντίθεση με τους υπόλοιπους καθεδρικούς του Κρεμλίνου που ήταν έργα Ιταλών αρχιτεκτόνων αυτός ο ναός είναι Ρωσικό δημιούργημα .¨Ήταν παραγγελία του Ιβάν του Γ΄ το 1484 και βρίσκεται δίπλα στο πολυεδρικό ανάκτορο που χτίστηκε την ίδια περίοδο επίσης για τον Ιβάν. Αρχικά είχε τρείς τρούλους και ανοιχτές στοές περιμετρικά . Μετά την πυρκαγιά του 1547 προστέθηκαν παρεκκλήσια στις γωνιές και οι στοές περιτειχίστηκαν . Η νότια πρόσοψη ( Πρόστυλο Γκροζνενσκι ) προστέθηκε από τον Ιβάν τον Τρομερό . Μετά τον τέταρτο γάμο του το εκκλησιαστικό συμβούλιο δεν του επέτρεπε να συμμετέχει την ιερή λειτουργία έτσι έχτισε το πρόστυλο και παρακολουθούσε από μια χαραμάδα . Οι τοιχογραφίες καλύπτουν τον εσωτερικό χώρο και τις στοές ενώ οι αγιογραφίες είναι εξαιρετικές .Τα θερμά χρώματα των αγιογραφιών δημιουργούσαν μια οικεία ατμόσφαιρα μιας και ήταν η οικογενειακή εκκλησία του τσάρου .Η κάθετη φορά των στύλων οδηγεί το βλέμμα στον τρούλο πάνω από το τέμπλο στην εικόνα του Χριστού Παντοκράτορα περιστοιχισμένου από σειρές αρχαγγέλων προφητών και πατριαρχών . Το τέμπλο θεωρείται το ωραιότερο της Ρωσίας . Το τέμπλο στη Ρώσικη εκκλησία αποτελείται από ζώνες ( σειρές ) . Η τοπική ζώνη είναι η κάτω κάτω σειρά και περιλαμβάνει εικόνες που έχουν σχέση με τη συγκεκριμένη εκκλησία . Η ωραία πύλη που βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της τοπικής ζώνης είναι συχνά διακοσμημένη με πλαίσια που απεικονίζουν τους τέσσερεις αποστόλους και τον Ευαγγελισμό .Μια μικρή ζώνη πάνω από την τοπική ζώνη και την Ωραία πύλη απεικονίζει τους μήνες του χρόνου . Η επόμενη ζώνη είναι η ζώνη της Δέησης και είναι η πιο σημαντική . Στο κέντρο της πάνω από την Ωραία πύλη βρίσκεται η ενθρόνιση του Χριστού που περιστοιχίζεται από την Παρθένο και τον Ιωάννη τον Βαπτιστή .
