Bosco Bar — Restaurant in Tverskoy District

I’m absolutely shocked and disgusted by what I experienced at this restaurant. I came in with my children, expecting a normal family meal. Instead, we were subjected to aggressive behavior, unprofessionalism, and what I can only describe as blatant discrimination.

After politely asking to change tables—a request that was kindly handled by one of the waiters—we were suddenly targeted by another staff member. A waiter in a white shirt began staring us down in a disturbing and hostile way. I calmly asked if there was a problem, and his reaction was completely unhinged—angry, confrontational, and totally unprovoked.

And this happened in front of my kids. They were scared and confused. No family deserves to experience this kind of treatment in a public place.

What made it worse was the manager’s response—or rather, his total lack of one. When I approached him to address the situation, he acted ignorant and dismissive, pretending not to understand what had just happened. It was crystal clear he had no interest in resolving the issue or holding his staff accountable. His behavior was not just incompetent—it was complicit.

This is not just bad service. It’s a restaurant that harbors toxic behavior, where rudeness is tolerated, and where families can be treated with open disrespect and hostility.

If you care about how you’re treated—or how your children are treated—avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of restaurants that will welcome you with basic decency and respect. This is absolutely not...

Poor service, slow meals and undercooked pasta ... We had to ask wait staff 4 times for water and only received it after about 40mins which was after my friends meal had arrived. The meals took ages to arrive, despite saying we were on a time limit. We ordered grilled seabass each and French fries and grilled vegetables. They ran out of the grilled seabass, and told us 10 mins after ordering only to have to order something else. When our meals came out, my friend's seafood spaghetti was extremely undercooked, and my dish was completely wrong (i ordered the papardelle with shrimp), but they still tried to make me take the salmon spaghetti even though I said I wouldn't be able to eat it. When my dish finally arrived, the pasta was also undercooked. They also removed our side orders without prior consulting us. Upon receiving our bill, the waiter had the nerve to remind us that service charge was not included in the total. Really not worth the effort, time or money.

The only saving grace for this cafe was the view of the red square and the lemonade mixers they have. I would...

I had a very unpleasant experience as i reserved a day before for a sunny breakfast but unfortunately they didn’t provide and set us a table in the shade because the sunny place is closed and only opened in certain time.knowing how the sun is such a rare and precious thing during fall in Moscow. We had our breakfast wearing the heavy coats watching the warmth of the sun just few feet away. Even when we complained to the manager no action was taken. Concerning the food I asked to remove the sour cream from my meal but also unfortunately it is out of my hand just take it or leave. The meals were not served at the same time. There was a lag for about 10 min So as a service provider they were not meeting with their supposed reputation. Definitely wont give it...
