A nicely styled, if not slightly older property. It is located next to the state opera house and only a 2 minute walk from SNP square restaurants.||||ROOM- I had a single room on the first floor above the cafe. No noise problems whatsoever as there is an intermediate floor in between. Furniture and zebra striped headboard are Art Deco in style and very fitting with the age of the property. I found the bed on the edge of too short for my 1.83m frame. Not too much extra free space so I would classify it as cosy but nice.||||BATHROOM - Was disappointed to find a long black hair hanging from the shower handle and a half used bottle of shampoo on the wall top in the shower (mind you, it is about 2.5m up...maybe the maid didn't see it up there?) Made me wonder if the room was cleaned at all or not. Sometimes when flushing the toilet, it wouldn't completely recycle thus continuing to drain into the bowl all night long until I got up to rattle the flush button. The drains to the shower also run a little slow in some of the rooms (mine and a few friends'). Probably just needs some cleaner to unblock some of the accumulated hair.||||FRIENDLY STAFF- Had no issues with the staff. Spoke English well and were willing to help out. Restaurant staff were attentive with clearing dishes, even during the morning breakfast rush. Interesting in that there didn't seem to be anyone manning the omelet pans. Wasn't sure if I was to make my own or not. I chose to eat from the hot options and was happy with the wide selection of food. Enjoyed the fact that there were cold fresh fruit and veg options.||||OVERALL- Reviews on this site indicate this is the best there is in B.B. You certainly can't beat the location. I would...

When we went to reception she didn't believed that we were saying the truth, so she went up with us, and even then when she saw dirty room with no cleaning she had the nerves to put it on us, by saying that we maked this mess by our self. In 2mins? Is it even possible?|And one more thing she never sayed that she is or hotel is sorry.|Worst staff atittude in...
Read moreThe hotel is clean but heavily outdated. We could not eat in the restaurant because the chef left early despite our reservation and then it did not open at all - on a Saturday night. The receptionist was friendly but had no idea about anything: they wrote then said that parking will be free of charge for the weekend, but in reality we had to find coins as there is a charge for Saturday mornings. They said the restaurant is open when it was not, they suggested the McDonalds that is 3 kms amay when we wanted to eat. We found lots of restaurants open just a couple of hundred meters away, and so on.... the breakfast was good. The bathroom of the junior suite...
