Heamakkin Ganjang Gejang — Restaurant in Busan

It was our first time trying 간장게장 (ganjang gejang - soy sauce marinated raw crab) and it was a yummy experience. Haemakki had options between female and male crabs, as well as single crab sets, bibimbap, and hot pots.

We got to try the single crab sets and bibimbap of the male crabs and it was delicious! We have never had raw crabs before, but we loved how soft and well-flavored it tasted. The single crab sets are a little more work since you’ll have to squeeze/dig the crab meat out of its shell, while the bibimbap already had all the crab meat prepared.

We really enjoyed how affordable the 간장게장 was. Their service was very friendly, and they served a unique selection of 반찬 (banchan - side dishes) along with the meal. Overall we recommend as a spot to try this meal near...

An amazing — if quite pricey — option for top-shelf gejang (raw marinated crabs) expertly prepared and presented. The crabs are beautifully flavored, and the seafood stew is served hot and comforting.

The service is also great; the kind woman showed us how to best mix the rice with the crab roe which I fully appreciated. She also prepared and served our fresh stew which was awesome to witness.

I will say we were initially taken aback by the suggested price per person, but after all of the food was brought too the table we were more than satisfied with our order. This place is worth your time, if even for a special...

Came across this shop while searching where to eat at haeundae beach. Surprisingly there was no queue at all. Atmosphere is good, food is even better. Ordered 2 male crabs, each of them come with side dishes and a bowl of rice. They are so fresh and the taste is superb. Highly recommended.
