Had a pretty nice stay at this hotel. I booked on Expedia and had troubles during the check in process, but the staff was able to quickly assist when I called. The tablet check in is really only if you have the actual reservation number in advance of receiving an electronic key- so from Expedia when I check in it asks for the reservation number. Number from Expedia doesn't work, the itinerary number no luck, and the translation mentions phone number for reservations which also cannot get through. Eventually I learned that you are supposed to get a text that gives you this information and sadly did not receive in advance. But that is okay! Friendly service to help.
Secondly the suites are okay. They have a nice view, but the doubles up in the upper floors are way better (suite level being floor ~15ish range). The suite I stayed in had a shower no tub, and was pretty bare bones in terms of layout- lots of space but lack of furniture or amenities to fill it.
Location is okay. So toward the Westin side of the beach, you are further away from the street market and main beach street though you get a nicer more comprehensive walk of the beach if you stay at that end. This hotel is I would say right at the end of the main area, requiring a slight walk to get back to where most people will spend the day at Haeundae. However because of this, it quiets down earlier on making for a nice place to go at the end...
Read moreI booked this hotel to attend a conference ROMAN2023 being held at their neighbouring hotel. It took me 2 mins by foot to get to the venue from the hotel and I could come by for lunch easily.
We booked a sea-view room and were not disappointed one bit. The room was on the 25th floor and it was marvelous. The cleaning lady was the only staff we met and she was the kindest very quick and tidy with her work.
Some heads-up for the non-native travellers would be: You can check-in without a Korean number using a kiosk which is at the entrance floor, this prints out a number which will be our door key for the time of your stay. Once you receive your 4# digit door key, and arrive in front of your room, you need to tap the digital lock, and when the digits light up you press the key. There is a 7-eleven, Starbucks, grocery store with flu medication right opposite this hotel. Go easy on the AC as it's a humid city it could mess up with your body temperature. There is a LG clothes refresher included in the room which can be easily used by translating the commands using translate (it isn't a washing machine but...
Read moreAffordable hotel at a great location! Had some trouble checking in at the self service check in machine. Make sure you have your reservation number prior before checking in.
Pros: excellent location near the beach, restaurants, taxis are just outside the hotel convenient store at the first floor they have 1 American electrical socket in room
Cons: shower water was a bit inconsistent either too hot or too cold no microwave (but there is one at the convenient store at the first floor)
Overall it was a great price and would love to stay here again...
