A must-see for people curious about Korea’s past. The whole thing takes around 1-2 hours and it’s definitely worth the ticket price. It captures how Korea was from the 40s until the 80s/early 90s with very nice set ups using everyday items from those times. It’s quite different to other museums as it’s very interactive so it makes you feel like you’ve time travelled to the past and it’s also very entertaining (e.g. I was asked to pull a bucket of water from a well which made the entire experience really fun). Highly...

Visiting Jeonju Nanjang felt like stepping back into the 60s and 70s Korea. The retro vibe is incredible, with old-school classrooms, vintage shops, and even a nostalgic arcade. Everything is so detailed, it’s like time traveling. It’s fun for all ages—kids discover history, and adults relive memories.

The place is mostly indoors, Tickets are affordable (7,500 KRW), and it’s easy to get there from Jeonju Hanok Village. If you’re in Jeonju, don’t miss it—it’s a quirky, fun way to experience...

This place is gorgeous it’s like a small maze and a museum of vintage furniture and history! A man was giving and baking sweet potato 🍠 and give it to us for free and it was delicious 🤤 the place is so Instagram worthy, and you can really learn a lot about the older Korean generations and how people used to live before Korea became such a modern society here since it’s literally at the street and it’s so easy to visit...

This place has a massive collection of memorabilia and items from the past - would definitely be appealing to Koreans who have lived through the different periods in recent Korean history. As a tourist, it was hard to understand the meaning of the exhibits and the context without any signage or explanation. Not worth the ticket price if you are not a huge fan of Korean history and memorabilia.
