To go to DDP, take exit 1 of Line 1, I think it’s nearer. There are a lot restaurants outside the station(exits for Line 1). You can get jjangmyeon for 3000won a bowl and the portion is huge.

The station is right at the dongdaemun shopping area. All the clothes and the market is right there. The fruits and veggies are pretty inexpensive and the food vendors sell all the street food that people crave. Usually packed with shoppers. The 1 and 4 train stop here.

A station located closely to Dongdaemun market itself, alight at this station for Hyundai city outlets and a food feast at Dongdaemun grilled fish street. From here, it is not too far a walk to Gwangjang market too.
