Naksan Fortress Wall Trail — Attraction in Seoul

The Naksan Fortress Wall Trail is a beautiful remnant of the city walls built during the Joseon period. It extends from the Heunginjimun gate to Hyehwamun, through Naksan park and many more interesting viewpoints. The climb is steep, but doable. Sunset views are good, night views with city lights are even better from the wall trail. The wall itself is lit up,asking for a very pretty picture! A plus is that it is not crowded, unlike many of the other attractions in Seoul. A must visit...

As a solo female traveler, I was comfortable on this trail, both during the day and at sunset. If you get the chance, give it a try!

The walk was enjoyable. Keep in mind it's uphill, so it might feel like a bit of a workout. At a certain point, you come across a few cafes and restaurants. Which is nice to refresh and keep going.

During summer, towards the end of the trail, there's a rose field... do yourself a favor and smell the roses🤗

Beautiful views of Seoul. Very walkable wall with options to walk on a brick walkway or more closely to the wall more of a gravel path. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Not too many convenience stores near by once you...
