Donut Jungsu — Restaurant in Seoul

Extremely rude staff... I came to this place shortly before the opening hours but I didn't know since they were displayed nowhere outside. When I walked in not even one step with the intention to ask when they were going to open (it seemed to be soon since staff were busy and lights on and doors open, so it seemed already open at shortly before 11am), I was immediately "greeted" by one of the staff just making a big X with her arms and insistingly gesturing into my direction, not even saying hello or allowing me to say hello or ask a question. Even though I am a foreigner, I do speak basic Korean, come to Seoul regularly and deserve at least some basic politeness and a greeting. I have very rarely seen such rude behaviour in Korean cafés. And even though the place looks quite cute, I will not make another attempt to visit them. I am extremely disappointed. Maybe it would be helpful to just display opening hours in front of the café, so no one will disturb the staff before they feel ready to socialize and there will be no...

A wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. I was pleasantly surprised, to find the place, had a hard time locating the place at first, you would this from the bus stop, you would go higher and then higher. Once you see the church, turn right into the road and take the stairs upward, after walking steeply down. The bottom floor is the serving area, and the upper floor is only accessible by another door, split level floor. The view of Namsan Tower is amazing. The donuts 🍩 and coffee ☕️ is great. The question is, which is better? The donuts or the view? I thought long and hard about this, and it’s def the donuts for me 😆. Got the maple cream and mugwort chocolate donut and both were just 🤤💯! Especially loved the maple cream one, it’s like Krispy Kreme but a way more elevated and high class version of it 😁👍😋. Not cheap, but worth every penny! 🍩
