LA CALLE — Restaurant in Seoul

Aight, ima be real! This place is probably the 2nd best Taqueria in Seoul. It’s better than Vatos, Coreanos and Pino, but it is not better than Villa Guerrero.

The problem with Villa Guerrero is that they only sell carnitas, so if you’re craving Barbacoa or Al Pastor, this is the place you’ll have to settle for.

Flavor is lacking, sauces are not spicy, but hey it’s Seoul! You can’t get too picky.

All things considered, it’s a good choice.

Avoid the quesadillas for sure! I don’t know wtf is...

I’m Mexican and was hesitant to try them but I visited two times previously and the tacos and quesadillas reminded me of home. Sadly the third time was not good. The flavor seemed right but the owners seemed to have changed the tortilla recipe and they no longer had quesadillas on the menu. Plus the tacos were dripping in oil, nada bueno. Ya no lo voy a seguir recomendado al menos que tengan ganas the comer tacos bañados en aceite. La Calle tenían los mejores...

It has the looks and the cool atmosphere making the most of the space in the Sindang Market. Maybe it was an off night, but there wasn't a lot of flavor from the barbacoa to the al pastor to the wagyu. The sauces you can use don't have much taste either. Maybe you need to add guacamole. Not the worst, but not the best. The service is friendly and professional. If you are in the area it's worth a stop, but not to go out...
