Okgyeong-i-nae — Restaurant in Seoul

This is where real drinkers get together. Located in the middle of traditional market, this place has been a sanctuary for local drinkers. Loud, crowded and bit pricey, some people would think this place is overrated. I think, however, this is the real deal. Not just a place to drink beer - they do have local draft beer, though - this is the place you sit tight and talk about anything for hours with your friends, co-workers. They are famous for grilled semi-dried squid but other dried fish places brought straight from the steam pot is the very best in my opinion. Even their side dishes are delicious. Can’t wait to visit another time soon. Feels like very chaotic but they do have Covid-19 protocols in place and staffs...

I went around 1:30pm and it wasn't busy. I got small portion of the grilled squid and two draft beers.

Two things I had with the grill squid. 1) mine was cold, it wasn't lukewarm or anything, it was cold, as it was sitting around and 2) squid where the head is located, it was undercooked, so it was hard to eat.

The draft beer was good :) Worth trying once, but go when it's busy, maybe you'll get the squid...
