Sujeongjeon — Attraction in Seoul

훈민정음의 산실이며 세종대왕이 1446년 훈민정음을 반포한 집현전은 지금의 수정전입니다. 집현전은 정인지, 신숙주, 성삼문 등 조선왕조 초기의 젊은 인재들의 집합소였습니다.

세조는 사육신, 생육신을 배출한 집현전을 폐쇄시키고 예문관으로 사용하였습니다.

흥선 대원군이 경복궁을 중건하면서 수정전이란 이름을 지었고 편전으로 사용하였습니다.
