Visited MSCHF after work. Intrigued by their claim to resist the system, criticize, satirize, and poke at the irrational aspects of humanity.
They had many works that mocked the act of giving rarity and value to already famous brands and figures. While exploring such pieces, the description questioning the lack of value in even well-known names made me reflect on myself.
However, though I sensed meaning in confronting human vanity, desire for conspicuousness, and rarity, I wondered if MSCHF's ultimate purpose is satire and criticism.
