Great modern shopping mall on two levels. Frequented by both locals and tourists. The lower level is mostly clothes and accessory shops and cafes while the top level, which is more open to the the elements, consists of more clothes shops and eateries. The cafes are great and are a cool place to relax when the sun is blazing outside. There are many food outlets mostly of the fast food variety, with a handful of sit down restaurants. Of the restaurants, there are a couple that are ok, but I have been mostly disappointed by the rest, and frankly there are a lot better places to eat elsewhere; but if you just want to grab a bite to eat after an afternoon’s shopping, then they are very convenient. There’s also a well stocked medium sized hyperdino supermarket closed to the underground car park. The mall is lacking any electrical shops though. The building has a nice airy feel as there are large areas of the roof that are open. There is a large illuminated water feature with water fountains, which is fascinating to watch. There is onsite parking but finding a space can be can difficult sometimes on busy days, especially as some people have been parking here when visiting Siam Park to save the €4 fee. A great place to meet friends or...
Read moreSiam Mall is a large partly open air shopping mall. There is a large section I hope most of which will be familiar to tourists. The place is light an airy an fairly easy to navigate. It’s split into two floors with the top floor bent mostly open air an containing a kids play area and restaurants. As well as the usual shop units there are many other stalls selling everything from sweets to toys. On the top area there is a good sized ply area for kids. Everything has to be paid for individually t the cafe. You select way you why tons and then queue up to pay for it where you get a except. The queues can be long especially when they are understaffed and trying to make coffee and snacks at the same time. There is a large play frame with trampolines, small electric trike track, harnessed trampolines and a number of other small rides to do. It’s a pretty good stop for kids who may get bored wandering around the shops. There are a large number of restaurants to choose from here as well. From burger bar to steak and seafood places most tastes are covered. There is a large car park available and a taxi rank by...
Read moreA very clean and well-kept mall. The only thing is that people keep entering the mall and shops with dogs without any consideration of hygiene and people that can be allergic to animals. Dogs are pets and have to be left at home in a garden and taken out to specific places in the greenery and not in malls and shopping. The prices are a bit high in general. Sales periods might help to find good products at reasonable prices but yet keep an eye open because before sales they like to increase prices.
After 5 months from my previous review, the mall is still full of dogs. It is incredible that people who are allergic like myself have to suffer the consequences. The mall was clean, but the conditions started to become a hygienic issue. Since the management ignored my previous comments, I will have to go from a 5-star to a 1star. Chinese shops don't allow dogs on the premises. Can you kindly consider this issue? Dog urine is all...
