SHAN EXPRESS — Restaurant in Adeje

One of our regulars in Tenerife, as it rarely disappoints! Shan Express is on the top floor of Siam Mall, which is ideal after a few hours of shopping.

The Wok Boxes are fantastic! Especially if you’re unsure of what to go for or are just in the mood for a mix of flavours. There’s 2 boxes to choose from, both coming with a different selection of dishes including Chicken Curry, Black Bean Beef, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Salt & Chilli Chicken, Noodles, Fried Rice and Chips. We also had the Spicy Beef as a standalone dish, but it didn’t quite hit the spot. Fresh and good quality ingredients, but not really spicy, and a bit lacking in flavour overall. That being said, the portions are a great size and are reasonably priced (we were just under €60 for 3 meals and drinks).

Even with a less than average dish in the mix, it won’t stop us coming back to Shan Express again in the future, we’ve been coming here for years and this is the first time we’ve had a dish that didn’t leave us...

I was impressed by the lovely Chinese girl staff from Zhejiang Province and the chef from Henan Province. I highly recommend San Express if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that offers great food and amazing service. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that sets the tone for the rest of the meal. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste and preference. Whether you are in the mood for traditional dishes like Peking duck or something a little more exotic like Mongolian Beef, Shan Express has got you covered. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The staff is attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. Overall, San Express is definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for a top-notch Chinese...

Wasn't expecting amazing food but the prices were good, until I actually started eating then I realised the cheap prices were still overpriced ,

Ordered sushi that was barely held together, the sushi seemed very unfresh, the rice was not sticky but more "moist" , it was almost like reheated rice ,

Ordered "volcano ribs" , don't let the name deceive you , they are not spicy one bit and tasted like the frozen microwave Chinese ribs you can buy at stores ,

The chicken chowmain we ordered and asked if it could be made a bit spicy came completely tasteless , not a exaggeration, there was 0 spices used , see picture

The best part of the meal was the water we got was chilled .
