⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re going to Siam Park for the first time, please read.

I visited Siam Park in July during a busy school half-term. I chose a Saturday based on a tip that it’s less crowded due to flight schedules. The park was busy but never overcrowded, with minimal queues for food and plenty of loungers around the huge wave pool and beach area. The water rides are some of the best I’ve ever been on. The wave pool and beach area are perfect for relaxing, and the Thai food offered was genuinely delicious. The park is beautiful and well-maintained. Staff throughout were friendly, especially to my nephew, and lifeguards acted quickly and kindly when he was on the lazy river for longer than expected.

Tickets & Pricing • Adult base entry: €48 • Child base entry: €38 • Unlimited Fast Pass: €99 per person (adults and children) • Single Use Fast Pass: Limited availability, sold only early morning

The base pricing is somewhat fair for what the park offers but it gets expensive very quickly with all the add-ons. I chose to pay €99 per person for unlimited fast passes because I was travelling with very fair-skinned kids who can’t tolerate long sun exposure. Plus, I knew my nephew would want to go on rides more than once — as kids do. So it wasn’t even a question. I saved up for this and feel lucky I could — but the truth is, only the most privileged can afford to have a great, relaxed day at Siam Park. Which shouldn’t be the case as that’s after already pushing it with the base ticket prices.

Also worth knowing: Single-use fast passes are sold in very limited numbers early in the morning, creating another stressful rush. And they only allow one ride per slide variation. Some rides have multiple slides or lanes (like four different versions), and the pass doesn’t cover all of them. So even with a pass, you’re still likely to miss out or end up queuing.

Watching families with young kids queue for hours in the sun for a 30-second ride was heartbreaking. Many queues have no shade, which is unsafe in 30°C heat. This setup forces people to pay a fortune to avoid endless lines, creating a stressful “Hunger Games” morning rush for lockers, loungers, and fast passes. The VIP upgrades offer convenience, but at an even higher cost.

Yes, businesses must make money, but charging €48 entry and then putting basic comforts behind a paywall feels unfair. Families can end up spending hundreds or thousands on a single day and still miss out. The park would improve massively by offering: • A wristband allowing one ride per major slide for everyone • Timed ride access to help spread out crowds • Shaded queues and hydration stations • Discounted entry for non-riders

Poor Customer Service

After a mostly great day, we wanted to return for the evening using a discounted “day + night” ticket we’d seen online — but hadn’t booked initially because we weren’t sure what to expect. At closing time, we asked the ticket office about it and were met with complete rudeness by Carla, the head of customer service. Despite explaining we’d already spent over €500 and were just hoping for a gesture of goodwill, she shouted at us: “Get out, we’re closed,” and dismissed us in front of our children and elderly family.

We waited over an hour to speak with someone, only to find her off happily chatting with another guest (think she fancied him — see pic). It was humiliating and unnecessary. Whether or not they could’ve honoured the discount, the way we were treated was appalling. You wouldn’t expect that in a hotel after spending €500 — so why should it be acceptable here?

Needless to say, we didn’t return that evening. Charging full price again for just 4 hours felt like a cash grab.

Final Thoughts: Siam Park has incredible rides and a gorgeous setting, but the excessive pricing, lack of fairness, and poor customer service left a bitter taste. With some changes to make the experience more inclusive and respectful, it really could be the best water park...

Siam park is an amazing water park, it was a very fun experience, but it has some flaws.

My friends and I all both the all-inclusive pass, which I really recommend everyone who goes to the park to buy. The reasons are the following:

There is unlimited food and drink, except for candy, chips and chocolate glazed donuts I think. So that means you can get as many cookies, sandwiches, ribs, burgers, chicken, soup and so much more. For the drinks it’s also amazing. You can get nearly water anywhere and also get drinks such as Pepsi or seven up for free (with all inclusive)

Additionally the all-inclusive pass gives you a fast pass to nearly all rides, meaning you will be able to get onto rider faster and do more rides. The fast pass has 1 slight problem though:

If too many people get the fast pass it’s not a fast pass. Me and my friends went on the Singha ride, which was very very fun, but due to the sheer amount of people we arrived just right before the people who got into the regular row at the around the same time as us; the people who were in the back of the normal line when we got on the fast pass line were really close to the end of the line and the entrance of the attraction when we were getting on the attraction, which I find ridiculous.

Another bad experience I had was even worse than this one. My friends and I went on the Mekong rapids attraction, in the fast pass row. And even with the fast pass row we were standing there for over 40 minutes until something happened, and I think you wouldn’t guess what happened… the attraction closed! Yes, they told us it’s closed and EVERYONE had to walk back after waiting for so long. They didn’t tell us a reason, but apparently something was broken, and I bet the people who bought the fast pass for only that ride, which costs 15 euros by the way, probably didn’t get their money back, which is also ridiculous.

One other annoying this that there was is that some employees were kind of irritated or impatient. I don’t know if this is because my friends and I had the all-inclusive pass or because it’s just like that.

But apart from those experiences the attractions are incredibly fun. Just the main problem is that there are too many people, and it’s difficult for siam park to fix that, but there are ways. There are ways to make the experience better for the people who come to the Siam park.

They could add more paths for lines or promote not acting lazy or lousy to their workers. I don’t understand why but I’ve had so many times we’re I just stood still in the line for multiple minutes, and why?? No idea.

I really recommend Siam park if you don’t mind waiting a long time. I know this is common for water and attraction parks, but knowing Siam park is one of the greatest water park in the world, if not the best, they should do something about this.

Finally I’ll tell you some highlights of the park: the wave beach is really fun, pretty high waves which is fun for all ages. the lazy river is a chill ride for the most part, so fine for all ages, but at one point you get to chose a path, you chose to go left or right. Right is back to the begin, and left is a fast pace route, where you get brought up with a conveyor belt and eventually get dropped, so this one could be thrilling for some. *the dragon is also really fun, with a huge drop in the middle and a big open platform where you go after.

All in all it’s an amazing park, which is crowned as the best, but is still missing some...

Words truly can’t describe the time my sister and I had at Siam Park! We booked our tickets through GetYourGuide – super convenient, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before and digital tickets that you can save straight to your phone wallet. Perfect if you don’t have internet on the go – they still scan just fine.

Thanks to everyone who recommended arriving before 10am. The park opens at 9am, though the slides don’t start until 10am. We opted for a taxi from Playa de las Américas (just €8.50) and got to the park around 9:15am. There was a short queue for photos, and then we headed straight to the lockers near the wave pool/Siam Beach. We managed to snag sunbeds right at the front – no issue at all! In fairness, the park has loads of sunbeds, but I think the ones by the wave pool and restaurant are the best-located.

Lockers were €7 for a small and €10 for a large. We brought our own water shoes from home (£5) but you can buy them in the park for €11. I highly recommend them – you never have to take them off, even on rides, and there’s no risk of losing them.

The park itself is beautifully laid out with lush greenery, shaded paths, and plenty of seating, toilets, and locker areas dotted around. At 9:45am, we headed straight to the outermost slides, starting with Singha – a red/difficult level ride that definitely woke us up! 😂 The shade along the queue lines made it all the more enjoyable.

We didn’t get a Fast Pass and honestly didn’t feel we needed one. The longest we waited (besides one ride) was about 30 minutes, even though we went on a Friday in late June. The only exception was Saifá – we queued for 1hr 10mins. The Fast Pass queue wasn’t much quicker though – that line grew super long too, especially for Saifá, Volcano, and Dragon.

By 1pm, we’d done about half the slides and took a break for lunch. The main restaurant gets really busy from 12-2pm – food queues were fine, but finding a seat was the tricky part. Food was average: hot dogs, burgers, pizza, ribs, fried chicken, chips, salads, etc. – something for everyone.

Relaxing by the wave pool afterwards was lovely. Most loungers had umbrellas for shade, and it was great seeing the excitement build when the waves kicked in.

A few tips: • Be prepared for a LOT of steps! Some slides are quite high, but I appreciated the side ropes to help pull yourself up when tired. • Start from the outermost slides and work your way in – this strategy worked really well for us. • If you want to ride Tower of Power, do it before lunch – that climb is steep and exhausting, especially after eating. • End the day with the lazy river – it’s so relaxing, especially the split path where you can choose the rapids and glide through the fish tank (one of my highlights!).

As an adult, I had an incredible time at Siam Park – felt like a kid again! The red-level slides feel like rollercoasters, fast and thrilling, and yes – you will get soaked. Even the yellow-level slides were surprisingly speedy. My favourite? Saifá, without a doubt.

If I ever return to Tenerife, Siam Park will 100% see me again.

P.S. We took the free shuttle bus back – it dropped us off in the heart of Playa de las Américas. From there, it was less than a 10-minute walk to our hotel....

These places in Europe are truly impressive 🤯🤯 1️⃣ Matera = this is definitely one of the most incredible cities in Europe. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but it is also the oldest city in Italy, and thought to be the third oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the world. It dates back to prehistoric times, when it began as a network of cave dwellings carved into the rock. 2️⃣ Dune du Pilat = the largest sand dune in Europe is located in France, not far from Bordeaux. At 102m, it is hard to believe that this sand dune exists in the middle of Europe! 3️⃣ Siam Park = this is the largest water park in Europe.
