Texas Ribs — Restaurant in Adeje

4 of us Went to Tony romas last night for a meal as we’re on holiday and was looking to try somewhere different to the fountain area, our server was a young girl with glasses (didn’t catch her name as no name tag) we place a order of 2 boneless bites with buffalo sauce to share , 3 steaks with mash and ribs for a main. When the bonesless bites came out we saw it was BBQ sauce usually I wouldn’t really mind the mistake but each of our partners hates BBQ sauce, we called the girl over and told her politely there was a mistake we ordered buffalo to which she responded “ well you didn’t tell me that “ and picked up the plates and walked away then another server came back I say as quick as 2 minutes later and flung the plates down, we were actually in shock looking at the food and they literally just put hot sauce over the bbq, we were actually a bit embarrassed to say anything at that stage and just threw one of two of them into our bags, the waiter for the rest of the dinner had to be called over and was making faces and huffing acting like a child to be fair not like a mistake has never been made but this is so bad at home if a restaurant did this they would apologise for the mistake and just give the right order no big deal ? Anyways I won’t be going back and have already told a couple to cancel there booking as wouldn’t know if your allergic to something and they throw...

Abysmal. Genuinely one of the worst food experiences I have ever had.

We sat down and ordered food & drinks like any other place. There weren’t many other people, and I only ordered fried chicken so I assumed it wouldn’t take that long.

However, after a while, I noticed many other people who sat down after us were getting their food before us.

We waited for a solid hour before finally getting our food. And it was horrible.

Both the chicken and the fries were cold. The chicken had a disgusting gravy on top which made some parts of the breast just soggy and unpleasant to look at. The crunchy layer was so tough that I literally could not even bite through it. At some point, the entire crunchy layer fell off the breast itself.

I could not finish my meal, I am ashamed I even took more than two bites, as the taste only got worse and worse.

The fries were also cold, soft and soggy. I do not know how, but they were.

I think the food was ready for already half an hour, but left on the counter and forgotten.

I also ordered a coleslaw which never arrived, but I’m pretty sure was on the receipt.

Honestly, do yourself a favour, go to any other fastfood restaurant, because this...

We went here for lunch today ..I ordered a Nashville chicken burger. We waited ages ..the server looked like she wanted to be somewhere else. The table was greasy. When the burger arrived it was that compressed, processed chicken that looks and tastes like plastic, in a kind of damp breadcrumb covering .. when I lifted the bun off parts of it were grey, I took a bite and it tasted disgusting so I had to spit it out. I sent it back and knew better than to order again after complaining. The waitresses face ..you'd think she'd personally shopped for it and cooked it, no apologies nothing.

My husband ordered the ribs, which look nothing like the video they have on constant replay. They were dry and tasteless and the sauce had congealed. We paid for the ribs e28.65 with two warm cokes. Did I mention the cold cardboard chips?

We left and went in the restaurant next door where my husband had a coke and I ordered the chicken burger. Absolutely fabulous and cost a third less. If you want to charge these prices you have to have something the other restaurants around you aren't doing ..that's not happening here and certainly not worth that kind of...
