Blend coffee & food — Restaurant in Adeje

I found it! Le Croissant, I love you, but for the best tasting non-Italian, medium-roasted, speciality, artisan coffee, welcome to Blend.

It’s where, I hope, Canary Island coffee tastes are leaning. Talking a look at the average consumer of Blend’s coffee. They are 20-something, beautiful looking, stylish locals. I stood out like a sore thumb, a 40-something dressed in their cycling wears. The youthful barista, speaking uno piquito Ingles was warm and assisted me with my Spanish. When I saw the Oatly barista edition milk, the Mazza Mini and the La Marzocco triple group head espresso machine. Joy. As the coffee was ground I could immediately smell the fruity notes of the Brazilian roast. Joy. As the barista foamed the milk I heard the sweet sound of steam wand tip caress the top of the oat milk. Joy. The coffee taste of the Brazilian beans was off the charts. It was so good, I ordered another, this time Costa-Rican beans.

Thank you Blend. You’ve made at least one English tourist a very happy person.

Blend is undoubtedly the best coffee in the south of the island. When sitting inside the cafe is generally a nice experience, albeit sometimes slow due to having only one member of floor staff.

The main improvement that I would like to see is to the menu, it lacks detail and accurate portion sizes stated when ordering coffee. There are none whatsoever.

Also the takeaway process, service and portion sizes are awful. There is no obvious way to order takeaway other than to hang around awkwardly and hope for the best, then people who are at tables often get priority. Then when you do get the coffee (frequently ten minutes later) it is in tiny cups that aren’t representative of the same coffee you would order if staying in the cafe.

I appreciate that is trying to cater for a more cosmopolitan audience and offers quality product and if improvements were made to these areas and service then it would be for sure the best cafe...

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful service I always receive when I visit your coffee shop. From the moment I walk in, the warm, friendly energy you all bring makes such a difference in my day.

The staff is always attentive, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about what they do, which creates such a welcoming atmosphere. I really appreciate the care and attention you put into not only the coffee but also the experience. It's rare to find a place where the service feels so personal and positive every single time.
