Just came back from the H10 Las Palmeras, having stayed there 10 years ago also. It is in a great location, a matter of yards from the Ocean, as you walk out the main entrance turn left for Veronica's approximately a quarter of a mile walk or turn right for the more civilised restaurants, bars and shopping areas. Our room had a great view of the ocean and pool area, which we requested, although the air conditioning unit was not great. Rooms cleaned daily but not what are advertised in the brochures or Internet, needs a little updating, to be honest. I have to say that 99% of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and always greet you with a welcoming smile. Unfortunately, the other 1% I'm talking about are the guys at the top, walking around in their suits in the restaurant area and behind the reception area also. These guys take their job far too seriously, in my opinion, and should take some educational courses or advice from the staff below them on how to smile and look happy within their roles. In the UK, we refer to such people as job worths, rude to both their staff and holiday makers because they feel and act superior. They can be abrupt and dismissive, and honestly, if back in the UK would have got a little squeeze of the windpipe just to bring them down off their high horses. The reception area could do with a little area for general enquiries or problems such as your key card not working, but instead, you will have to wait behind the 10 groups of people checking in. The restaurant has many choices for all nationalities, but at times, the food was cold or luke warm at best. The waiter and waitress service is first class, always greeted promptly and with a smile. The outside pool area is great and spacious but would benefit from more staff as service can be a little slow. The night-time entertainment is great, and the White party that they hold every so often was exceptional. The pool areas are great, clean, and very inviting, plenty of room and sun lounger space for everyone. Finally, the highlight for me were the activity staff, Javi, Chensi, and the young woman whose name I can not remember were fabulous, a credit to the hotel. They were friendly, chatty, and always engaging individuals and always made whatever activity so much fun whether that may be water polo, water aerobics, volleyball, darts, archery, table tennis or football, so SPECIAL credit to them guys.

We arrived on the 11th of August for 10 nights. It wasn’t hotel we actually booked, but due to jet2 overbooking our hotel, we were sent in here as an alternative. The location is excellent, right on the beach promenade, next to the golden mile. We had quite pleasant stay. Food was great with loads of veggie, meat and fish options. Every night was themed as well ( oriental, Italian, international, bbq…) they also have Italian and sushi restaurant, free to attend once on all inclusive or anytime with privilege ( must be pre booked), which we purchased. We especially liked the cafe which is free on all inclusive. It opens late afternoon for some coffees, milkshakes and cakes. Great service in there. The staff in the restaurant, reception ( Damien and a lady who was the relation manager was so helpful ) and I definitely have to mention the pool guys, they were very nice and caring for sure, they allocated our sun-beds with easy access to the pool, with blue badges on it. They always made sure our sunbeds were there for us. I was traveling with someone with mobility impairment, who needed to use walker and this just helped greatly. Everything was accessible for my husband, yes there were few steps on the privilege sun roof, but it was honestly easy to get in. The privilege option was lovely, we had extra bar in the lounge/sun roof, free pool towels change and lovely chocolates every night. Plus you get you room bar/fridge stocked on arrival with some non alcoholic drinks. The restaurant manages and waiters were so helpful, they will bring you drinks if not available in the restaurant from the bar and always made sure we have the table with space for my husband walker. We had the privilege breakfast, again, waiters very helpful, great choice of food ( please try the Cannarian toast with cinnamon and bananas!!). It is a family hotel, but honestly the entertainment was suited for everyone, yes it was quite busy to swim, but if you went early or later on, you will get some space for a swim. We never had kids with us this time, but the kids entertainment and animation team was excellent! I would definitely recommend it, definitely higher standards, and care for your needs in this hotel. Thank you Miluse &Stuart

This is one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed at. On arrival the room was 'cleaned'. There were giant yellow stains on the sheet, hair in the shower, a stain that looked like poo just outside our door. The condition of the room looked nothing like the photos, table was full of scratches and chips, the floors have not been vacuumed or mopped (our white socks were grey), the toilet smelled terrible, many years of wear and tear to the room and the hotel in general. We requested a room change due to the above preferably on a quieter side since we have a baby. The manager was the rudest hospitality worker I have ever encountered, really, I was quite emotional after. He was rude and didn’t care at all in helping or even the state that the hotel room was in (seemed like the norm), he was the furthest from hospitable. After convincing him of the horrible state of the room he said they‘d call if a room would be available. He gave us a room that you can only go up stairs to. Clearly not very family-baby friendly. We had to carry the stroller up and down every time. The lovely security guard helped us with the bags when changing rooms and asked for us if there’s another room since there’s no ramp or elevator. The same manager said in the most callous way 'you said you wanted a quieter room' and as you can tell couldn’t care less about this being quite physically difficult for us. It was another punch in the face since this room was also x3 louder than the other, since he placed us in front of the night music entertainment - bar. I can’t help but think this was on purpose. Things we liked - the location, the pool and surprisingly we liked the mattress and pillows. Things we didn’t like - of course the management and reception staff was atrocious as soon as you were checked in, drinks at the bar were below average (not made from scratch), a variety of food but not good quality (we had half board), unfortunately the fruit was low quality too.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at h10 las palmeras! We chose a sea view room after reading the comments advising to do so, and i would 100% recommend! The rooms was clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful. The only downside to the room was the two single beds instead of a double (which we didn’t mind at all actually). I really enjoyed the food. If you stay for 7days or more you get to dine in the Italian and Japanese restaurants as part of the inclusive. The Japanese restaurant was the highlight of our holiday! Immersive and interactive teppanyaki with an amazingly talented and lovely chef! 100% recommend (photos attached). The lasagne at the Italian restaurant was beautiful also. The buffet restaurant is large and the choice are wide and varied. They seem to cater to a good range of national cuisines. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly and happy to help. On our final day here, we discovered the snack bar by the pool! Make sure you check this out and take full advantage of it as it is really lovely! All inclusive drinks include a range of cocktails, most spirits and draught beers etc. there are a number of bars inside, and two outside by the pools. The outside area itself is clean and well maintained. There are two larger pools and one children’s size pool. We didn’t struggle to get a sunbed any day! The animation team are amazing! There is a timetable of different activities each day. We particularly enjoyed water polo and the Brazilian dancers during the evening entertainment. The location is fabulous! Stones throw from the beach and about half way between the Veronica’s drinking strip and the main shopping bit. I cannot comment on the many reviews complaining of noise above the Dubliners bar as we had a sea view room on the other side (100% reccomend the sea view) Overall, we had a lovely time here and would definitely return to H10 las palmeras!

H10 Las Palmeras: A great hotel with a Few Quirks H10 Las Palmeras offers a pleasant stay in a fantastic location in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife. Its beautiful set out, pool, and proximity to the beach make it a great choice for those seeking a relaxing getaway. The hotel is clean that creates a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The lush greenery and colourful flowers are a real highlight. * **Pool Area:** The hotel offers a pool, including a large main pool, and a smaller one for children. There are plenty of sunbeds available, though securing one early in the morning is recommended during peak season. * **Beach Proximity:** The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to the beach and the lively promenade. You can easily walk to various restaurants, shops, and bars. * **Food & Drink:** The buffet restaurant offers a decent selection of food, catering to a variety of tastes. The themed nights are a nice touch. * **Friendly Staff:** The staff were generally friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurants and bars. **Areas for Improvement:** * **Entertainment:** The evening entertainment was a bit hit-and-miss. While there were some enjoyable shows, others were less impressive **Overall Impression:** H10 Las Palmeras is a solid 4-star hotel that offers a great value for money. While it might not be the most luxurious option, it provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a fantastic location and beautiful grounds. It's a perfect choice for families, couples, and groups looking for a relaxing holiday in Tenerife. If you're looking at booking all inclusive it's worth noting that you get well known brands of drink, not the local alternative. **Recommendation:** If you're looking for a hotel with a convenient location near the beach, H10 Las Palmeras is a good option and the overall experience is positive, and the hotel offers a tranquil escape in a vibrant area of Tenerife.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say that our overall experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable. Their warmth and hospitality truly made a difference in our stay. The hotel itself is a paradise, with stunning amenities, beautiful grounds, and a huge selection of activities to enjoy. The pool area was pristine, and the on-site restaurants served delicious meals. Every corner of the hotel shouted luxury and relaxation. However, I must admit that the room I stayed in felt a little outdated and had some dust that had accumulated in places. While this was a minor inconvenience, the rest of the hotel's excellence more than made up for it. I found myself so engrossed in the fantastic experiences outside of my room that I soon forgot about its imperfections. In the end, it was the impeccable service and the overall ambiance of the hotel that made my stay truly remarkable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and indulgent holiday, and I'm confident that they will overlook any minor room issues in favor of the incredible experience the hotel offers. We just want to mention the entertainment team Victor, Mica & especially Javi. These guys are a credit to the hotel and without them the holiday experience would be completely different. These guys are your friends the moment you walk in, they make you feel part of the family. We cant wait to come back!
