Carrefour Express — Attraction in Barcelona

Angry and tired staff, the 3 times we visited this carrefour the staff we grumpy. Also, worth noting that in BCN shops are not allowed to sell any alcohol after 10pm! AVOID this Carrefour! Not like any other Carrefour store here in BCN. Price for an item I buy regularly at other locations was 30% higher. Store didn’t accept my Amex like other locations. Long lines, indifferent and super slow employees, just dirty and doesn’t “feel” professional like a normal Carrefour. Indian-run and -operated store. Should’ve been a clue....

On the plus side, it's got Carrefour goods, it opens late, and they stock fresh milk. On the minus side, don't expect good apples, or green beans, or fresh orange juice, or a patisserie section. The lighting is pretty awful too. But it's a step up from most...
