Unfortunately, I was subjected to bad treatment, racism, insults, and expulsion from your store at the address: av diagonal, 477 ,, The reason is that I went with my family. This is the worst store you have, to buy an iPhone 15. On 10/16 at 16 p.m., one of your employees, with a shaved head, medium height, and a round face, came and dealt with me in the worst way, because he found that I wanted to buy an iPhone 15. I had never been treated so badly in my life as I was in this store. I bought a laptop from a nice guy (Jordi), but the second time I was using it, the computer screen started to malfunction and I couldn't use it. I went to the store to exchange it, and that's when an employee (bald, short and grumpy) was very arrogant and rude to me, saying that I had crashed the computer (even though there was absolutely NO scratches, bumps or anything like that) and that they couldn't exchange it. He told me to use the insurance that had paid for it separately. I asked if he spoke English, he said no, and after a long argument with him, he started speaking English fluently, and even said that I needed to practice my Spanish in a very ironic manner. After that, I went back to the store with my cousin who speaks Spanish the next day and another employee received the computer saying that it really didn't appear to be a crash, but rather a defect. Hours later, I received an email asking me to file a claim with my insurance company and to lie to the company saying that I had hit my computer so that they could fix it. I ended up doing this, but days went by and I started reading about consumer laws and understanding my rights, since I had the right to exchange it and a warranty. When the computer arrived from the insurance company, 12 days later (today) we went to the store to try to exchange it. I wanted to change the model, and we were treated very badly by the customer service manager... they said that I was not entitled to the warranty, that they could only exchange it with the paper box that the computer came in (that they didn’t say me to keep) and after much discussion we even had to leave at the behest of the store security. Read moreToday, I visited the Media Markt located on Avinguda Diagonal in Barcelona, and I must say it was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. The store is located at Avinguda Diagonal, 477, 08019 Barcelona.
From the moment I entered the store, the atmosphere was unpleasant. The salesperson I interacted with was extremely rude and aggressive. It seemed as though his goal was not to sell products but to assert his own importance. This attitude made it nearly impossible for me as a customer to receive proper advice or have a pleasant shopping experience.
The salesperson with a beard, whose name I unfortunately do not know, stood out particularly negatively. Instead of helping me with my purchasing decision, he continuously blamed me and treated me condescendingly. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. I felt that my presence and questions were a nuisance to him and that he had no interest in helping me.
In summary, this visit to Media Markt in Barcelona was a huge disappointment. Customer service needs urgent improvement, especially through training for sales staff to ensure professional and friendly customer interactions. Unless this changes, I will not visit this Media Markt again and cannot recommend it to others.
