This relatively new museum is beautifully designed, well-organised, and clearly created with a deep love and passion for cars. The team of young, enthusiastic staff welcomed us warmly and made everything smooth and pleasant. One particularly nice touch was the “Free Car” option during ticket booking — we were picked up from our home in a private car and had a great introductory chat with the driver on the way to the museum. At the entrance, we were greeted by a friendly lady who explained how to get the most out of the museum. Free audio guides are available in several languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Russian), which made the visit more informative. The cars on display are in excellent condition and presented with care. Having visited many car museums around the world, we were impressed by the thoughtful selection here, the museum is not huge though. It’s clear that the focus is on unique models chosen for their engineering or aesthetic value — not just on filling the space with as many cars as possible. In addition to the exhibition, there’s a 15-minute movie on the history of cars (available in Spanish and English), a children’s play area, and a café offering tasty fresh food. It's a great place to visit with kids and a perfect way to diversify your seaside holiday — even if you're not a huge car fan. Highly recommended for car enthusiasts and...
Read moreI visited the museum last week while in the area. I have visited motor museums in the uk and other countries and this is one of the best. There is a great collection of both everyday cars (like the one your dad had when you were a child) from the British, European and Americas. Then the film and favourites that we love. All the cars are well presented and not messed about. You can access all the way round for photos or peer through the windows close up. There is a superb audio guide for each car giving facts and history as you go round as well as the usual fact display boards. Give yourself plenty of time as it may take longer than you think. Visit the 50s style diner for lunch after and dont forget the gift shop. Entry prices are very reasonable. The museum is easy to get to by bus to the large shopping Mall and a five minute walk beyond. I understand that they may collect and return you from local areas in their courtesy minibus if you contact them ? I can recommend a visit here and I will come back in the future (or the past. See what I did there. Ha Ha) A tip for the men ! Why dont you drop your lady off at the nearby shopping mall and you visit here...
