Restaurante Mitico — Restaurant in Finestrat

I've been to this restaurant a few over the years and never had any issues untill the 26th December 2024, I sat at the outside area waiting for service and after waiting 30 minutes I went inside to the bar to get drinks and the bar person said they'd bring them over and this they did, there was a male waiter with good English working in the terrace area but at no point did he come to my table, after waiting almost an hour I wanted another drink I went inside and ordered with a young lady who said they would bring them over, after waiting 45 minutes I went to see where the drinks are and I was met with a mouth full of abuse from the English speaking waiting telling me you get your drinks yourself can't you see I'm busy, I tried to explain that I came in for drinks and got told they'd bring them over but he wouldn't listen and giving notice but rude comments like look can't you see I'm busy I had two tables leave yesterday without paying, I tried to explain this isn't my problem and he was just rude, I would never allow this waiter to talk to people the way he does he's not good for mitico, after telling me we don't take orders you go the bar yourself he took an order from a table of people next to me we weren't even given a menu, I will go back to mitico but I'll not be served by this rude...

Tried the menu del dia today. The first and second courses (salad and lentil soup) were very nice. The third course (beef fillet) was very poor - the food was cold and all precooked. The beef was of a poor quality. The last course, Helado, was again very poor and the cone seemed to be very stale compared to the crispy cone normally eaten. On top of this, it seemed like the staff wanted me out of the restaurant as soon as possible because the first and second course came at the same time and the third course arrived before I had finished the others. I'm afraid that I don't recommend the menu del dia from this location and I shall not...

El lugar deja que desear . Mi marido es cliente desde hace muchos años y yo voy de tanto en tanto porque no es de mucho de mi agrado. La atención es pésima. Tienes que entrar a pedir en la barra y lo llevas tu mismo a la mesa. Si esperas que te sirva un camarero es perder el tiempo ya que tardan la vida en atender y siempre son diferentes. Lo que ya dice mucho de un lugar donde los trabajadoras cambian tanto como uno se cambia de calcetines. Las fotos que hay son muy antiguas y no tienen nada que ver de como está hoy en día el local. La zona infantil sólo se abre los fines de semana cosa que a mí parecer resta muchos puntos ya que cualquier día es bueno para salir con los niños a tomar algo. La zona la tienen totalmente abandonada. La piscina de bolas ,sin bolas, el suelo acolchado lleno de agujeros y levantado. La zona para dejar los zapatos es un desastre, está que se cae, las máquinas recreativas más de lo mismo. La mitad de ellas rotas,no funcionan,se tragan las monedas. Quieren quitar la zona infantil para poner otro comedor. Lo que me parece genial por un lado ,para tener una zona en esas condiciones mejor quitarlo y no dar a los clientes un servicio pésimo ya que estamos pagando por consumir y después te encuentras con el abandono de la zona y los niños no la pueden disfrutar como es debido. Me parece que quitar una zona infantil en vez de arreglarla quita puntos. Vamos familias ,amigos a comer,cenar o pasar un rato allí y tener un lugar dónde los niños jueguen y poder tomar o comer tranquilamente se agradece. En esa misma zona tienen aseos que siempre están cerrados. Por lo que si tienes que acudir al baño o algún niño tiene que acudir,o bien tienes que decir que te abran o vas a los baños que están en la otra zona cerca...
