We recently stayed here for 3 nights and had a good time, but unfortunately a few elements of the hotel let itself down. To start with the positives: it's very well located and only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Palma, the list of restaraunts recommended by the hotel were excellent, and the hotel/rooms itself are very nice and well designed. The nightly turn down service with chocolate and water was also a nice touch. ||Unfortunately, the area which requires improvement is the service. Whilst generally most staff were nice and friendly, they were not particularly proactive or helpful. There were no constant staff at the pool area and the staff at the roof bar did not check in, this meant that loungers stayed reserved for hours and there was no one to take drink orders/clear empty glasses. The pool area often ran out of towels and the complimentary water was not refilled. ||On our first day I asked a staff member what time we should get to the pool to get a seat (as there were none available) and he just told me he didn't know/it was always busy, which was disapppinting. The next few days the pool was clearly much quieter in the mornings so I'm not sure why he didn't say this. ||One morning they hadn't put towels on all the loungers and when I asked at reception (as the towels had all gone by 10.30am), it took them 30 minutes to bring more towels. ||On our last day we wanted to eat at the hotel restaraunt before our flight. The roof bar was serving downstairs due to weather and reception told us it was open. We stood around for 5-10 minutes and no one appeared. We eventually flagged down a member of staff who seated us. He then told us that only the snack menu was available until 1pm. We wanted something a bit more substantial due to our flight (e.g. we would have been happy with being able to order fries to go with the snacks), but there was no option for flexibility around this. This was disappointing as the normal pool menu serves this type of food from 11.30am and I believe the room service menu has all-day dining. There was no offer to accommodate us and it would have been very easy to do so, as we weren't after fine dining. ||Given this, we wouldn't recommend this hotel, as the service is...

Pros of the Deluxe room and overall hotel Quality bathroom equipment (cosmetics, thick towels) Spacious bathroom and well built shower space Good lighting and AC systems in the room Pleasant 2 storey rooftop with a sea view Small but sufficient Infinity edge pool Attentive and smiling staff Quality breakfast although food type is a bit repetitive if one were to stay for 3+ nights Decent sized gym, sufficient for “holiday” type workout Taxis came fast when required at the hotel lobby
Cons of Deluxe room and overall hotel Extremely poor sound proofing! (I had asked for a room far from the elevators and from the serviced door (where cleaning staff operates) but I was given a room right next to them!). Impossible to sleep post 8am (in case you plan to have a long night). Door of the serviced room kept being slammed every 5 min, cleaning staff is having conversations in the hallway (although they were NOT loud at all!). I thought the door of my room was opened at the beginning! Shocking for a “five star” Very pricey (paid EUR 500 per night) King sized bed consists in reality of 2 twin beds stuck to each other Mattress is slim and pillows are quite thick Spa, it’s not a continuously run spa but they have external consultants coming upon appointment only When asked for a late check-out, I was put on hold and then told that the hotel was fully booked up for the same day. Agree that the time to check out is 12pm, no worries, but it sounded bizarre to me that the staff is not aware that the hotel operates at full capacity from the moment I asked Location is 5 min from the first beach but 10-15min from the city center
Hope you’ve found this review comprehensive and objective enough (as I had failed to find a descent and objective review before I...
Read moreThe hotel is centrally located, the cathedral stands at 5 minutes' distance walking and the beach at 10 minutes. The position of the hotel is perfect if one wants to walk around in the historical center, but unfortunately, there is a busy street between the sea and the hotel so that the hotel surroundings are not the quietest place. The hotel is rather small but cozy and very stylish. Our room was the habitación signature: every piece of furniture is modern and fashionable. The room results in being very well-thought in all the details. The restaurant and the bar offer a good choice of food, both places are tasty and I would suggest trying the Mallorquin degustation dinner for one night. To point out that the desserts were not our favorites. The service is attentive and meticulous. Breakfast has a regular choice of food and the tortilla the patatas was my favorite, really delicious. Breakfast service is somewhat slow, especially if one asks for food and drinks separately. The gym is very small but brand-new...no more than 4 people can train in it simultaneously, because of its capacity. The spa and the indoor pool can host more people but surely not all the guests of the hotel at once, the facilities are rather small. The outdoor pool and the rooftop offer a great view of Palma and the sea, but unfortunately, the pool is not heated up so if the weather is not too warm, the water is freezing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel, with special regard to the politeness and savoir-faire of the staff. Probably, we would not spend in this hotel a holiday when Mallorca is booked out because of the lack of a space where to relax...
