We are staying at the Sandos Blas resort and had one dinner at this place included in our stay. One word: D I S G U S T I N G. The level of the food is even below that of the food served in the restaurant of the resort (buffet) which is not high, let’s say far below average. I had the vegetarian menu, I didn’t eat any of the plates (3 courses) and had the bread instead. The main course looked like meat vomited twice. (It was supposed to be tofu). I love food (good food) but I can also understand big resorts need to please everybody and this can translate in average food. For me this menu was nothing more than an excel-file menu where PROFIT was the most important thing, using canned and frozen products instead of fresh ones. Step your game up LA PROA! You can do much better than this with all the resources you have! A little love for food in general and if you have some love left also for the people that have to eat the food you serve! I’m not angry, I’m ashamed, ashamed in your place....
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant where I indulged in an exceptional paella. The freshness of the food stood out, making every bite a delightful experience. Their starters, the Canary potatoes and shrimps with Padron peppers, were nothing short of delicious, setting a high bar for the meal to come. The paella itself, with its flavorful rice, exceeded my expectations. Complementing the meal, the local wine was simply amazing, enhancing the overall dining experience.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the rapid and flawless service. The staff seemed to anticipate every need, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable meal. In my humble opinion, this level of attentiveness is a rare find. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant as a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a superb dining experience. I would like to thank Monsieur Ray who was attending our table at...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic restaurant, if not the best I’ve been to on Tenerife. We joined the Saturday evening tradition with Michelin quality dishes, making a trip to the center of rice. The dishes were lovely, very flavourful and colourful. Just delicious. We started with several smaller ones, to finish it off with a big pan of excellent paella. The wines accompanying the dishes were very well chosen, and of high quality. The staff completed the experience. They were very attentive, explained the food and wine very well, and paid close attention to details regarding their guests. Next time I’m going to Tenerife, I’ll go here...
