Don’t miss this! Not only is this a small local museum that offers large variety of tastings, but it is also a local wine and cheese shop. They offer a large selection of wine bottles, cheese, olive oil, and local vermouth and liquors. You can make a quick stop for something without walking through the museum or doing a tasting.

The shop is run by a husband and wife team and they are the SWEETEST people. The husband is extremely knowledgeable about wine and can give great recommendations on both tastings and purchases. We didn’t speak much Spanish and the wife was incredibly patient with us and also communicated in a way that we understood and was so kind. She is also knowledgeable about all their products. I was able to try the local thyme liquor (tomillo) and a local vermouth. My family did the aged manchego tasting. The wine they recommended was excellent! We bought a few items and walked out feeling like we had found a gem of a place and can’t wait to go back one day. It is a MUST do if you...

I don't understand the complaints about being too late will be too expensive. don't they realize a 6 eur for a cheese and wine tasting isn't that expensive at all?? This is run by three people in a small business and it is impressive and they set up three small museums to entertain the customers about the history of manchego cheese.

I also did the wine and cheese tasting and the manchego cheese was great. I'm extremely picky about what I eat and so far the manchego cheese here has been the best I have tasted so far. Also because I am a non-native Spanish speaker, the owner was careful to speam a little slowly than usual so that I can understand every one of it. It is definitely worth visiting if you are a Tourist in Toledo.

One note to the owner however - I know you probably didn't mean malice but stretching one eye while referring to Asians is not the...

One of the greatest places we have ever been!!! My husband and I went for our Anniversary, on June 1st. They are a family owned business and they make you feel part of their family. They greet you with a smile and explain everything they have to offer. 1. A mini museum with information regarding the origins and procedure of making the manchego cheese. 2. A cocktail/bar area where you can taste the manchego cheese paired with an exquisite wine selection and crackers. 3. Different products, like jelly, cookies and much more for sale and enjoy. One of the owners, I believe her name start with A, was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for making our visit a one to remember!!! If you are in Toledo or doing your research about places to visit, el Museo del Queso Manchego is a most in your list!

I have been attracted by the wonderful window that led me to get inside the shop, I had an amazing welcome by the owner, To be honest I wasn't hungry or firsty, However I could see her passion for explaining to us their wine and Sheep-cheese, so I was transported in her Reality and as Sicilian it's what I look for when I want an extraordinary experience!! Over my aspection, I was with my close Spanish friend and both agreed and enjoyed our time there. Most of those wine are local and as soon you seated their will acknowledge you of their choice combined with the different cured/ matured cheese. You could choose from a variety of different local brands of wine for your gifts, Visit the cheese museum. Highly recommend if go in toledo! Thanks Sergio Z.
