Superb place and from what i know and read it is basically one of the largest if not the largest in Europe. We had a blast there seeing all the "wildlife" and managed to also secure some seats during the dolphins show. The venue is quite big, however the map is not very user friendly and the numbering is all over the place. It might just be me, and theres definitely a reason why they did that but was a bit confusing for us so we decided to just roam around "freely". Plenty of food places to eat and plenty of selections to choose from also. Prices are a bit so and so, i.e about 13 euros for a burger and fries or we paid about 10 euros for some valenciana paella which was great. The place can get very crowded and when we went through to the Arctic zone, we had to queue for a couple of good minutes to actually get in. The time of visit was during the weekend, and so it will get quite busy. Parking is not free and not cheap, unless you get the full day offer, which i have no idea how you can redeem or take advantage but for us , i believe we paid almost 25 euros for around 4-5 hours... The dolphin show was very quick as we expected something else to be honest. We went and had a swim with dolphins about 2 years ago at a different place where we paid indeed about £150 but we got to do a lot of interaction with them. For an included show in the entry ticket is ok, don't get me wrong but i feel like a bit more "entertainment" with them and maybe doing extra tricks would have been great. Overall worth it if you are in Valencia and a must do.

Reserve at least 4/5 hours for visiting Oceanografic. Its a great fun for everyone. Make sure you get yourself a map from staff at the door, it will be easier for you to navigate around. You will be amazed with a variety of animals you can see there. Dolphins show is adorable. Quite a few smaller food places and restaurants. Some of them a bit pricey, so if you dont want to spend too much money, bring your own sandwiches. Not every caffe serves coffee with soya/lactose free milk. I only found it in the reataurants. I would recommend to arrive at 10am if youre visiting July/August as it gets busy really quickly. We did go to the first dolphins show at 11.15am to experience less crowd. We bought tickets online, the prices vary depending on a day, holiday week etc. We paid €40 per adult and €30 per child (up to 12). You can also buy a combo tickets with entry to the Science Museum and Hemisferic for approx €65-€68 per person but I would find it impossible to visit all in one day due to each venue time consuming. There is a massive ungerground parking for €7 per day (€8 if you visit July/August). Try to park your car close to parking D so you are the closest to the Oceanografic entrance :-) Very well organised place, helpful and informative staff. You will enjoy every minute spend there.

We spent a wonderful day (10:30 - 18:00) at Oceanogràfic! We started with the dolphin show (amazing rapport between the trainers and the dolphins, an educational show with subtitles in English on the big screen) then went to the wetlands aviary. Lines were short for the snack stands when we wanted to eat (on a Thursday). And we were able to access all of the regions/buildings when we arrived at each one - there are limits on crowds for different areas. Each section was beautiful, with huge and well maintained tanks, clear and detailed signage in multiple languages (ES, VAL, EN) and lots of places to sit down and relax while viewing the tanks. What an amazing range of animals! The tunnels (in the temperate/tropical section, and in the ocean/shark section) were crowded, but very enjoyable. We saved the arctic/ belugas and antarctic/ penguins for the afternoon, and really enjoyed the cool in each building. We recommend spending the whole day instead of rushing through; so glad we had planned to save the Science Museum and Hemisféric for a different day. (You can buy a discounted ticket package online and schedule your visits over multiple days.) Complements to the staff - every person we interacted with was kind and polite, and the whole park is very well maintained and clean.

This place is a true gem, and here's why: The Oceanographic is incredibly well-maintained, showcasing an impeccable level of care for both the marine life and the visitors. The size of the facility is impressive, offering a vast and diverse array of exhibits to explore. It's like stepping into a world of aquatic diversity and beauty. One of the standout features of the Oceanographic is its cleanliness. Everywhere I looked, the facility gleamed with cleanliness, making the visit all the more enjoyable. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment for both the animals and guests. The exhibit layout is both extensive and well-organized, with various buildings dedicated to different marine themes. Whether you're fascinated by sharks, mesmerized by dolphins, or curious about penguins, there's something here for everyone. The diverse range of exhibits ensures that you'll never run out of new and exciting things to see. The quality of the exhibits and the welfare of the marine life were top-notch. It's clear that the Oceanographic is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. From playful dolphins to majestic jellyfish, the experience is nothing short of magical.

Great to visit, but not the largest or the simplest road to see so many things. If you don t have a map, you can definitely skip seeing actually beautifull places, with beautiful submarine life. It would help to have a route on the ground or somewhere, in order to be easier to follow and see both outside and inside (underground) exhibits. We went also to the delphinarium - the reason why I gave only 4 stars- they could actually make it look better and have more attention when it comes to such a big delphinarium . I understand how the things changed and they must change the shows in a more educational ones, but when the dolphins are actually performing, sometimes they are all performing everywhere, and this makes it very hard to follow - imagine having the story in the screen and also 3 places in the water where you need to focus, the information gets lost very easily this way. And they should paint that swimming pool, poor dolphins, I don t really know how much care they really receive when that swimming pool looks like that. Other than that, most of tge animals seems to receive lot of attention and care, everywhere is clean and neat. Definitely worths a trip, but I ve seen better🙈

My visit to Valencia Oceanogràfic was truly memorable. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the sheer diversity of marine life on display. The tour was exceptionally well-organized, with clear explanations provided at each exhibit, enhancing my understanding of the various species housed within the aquarium. One of the highlights of my visit was observing the playful antics of the penguins, whose waddling movements and curious demeanor never failed to bring a smile to my face. The belugas were equally fascinating, gracefully gliding through the water with an air of serenity that was truly mesmerizing to behold. Of course, no trip to Valencia Oceanogràfic would be complete without experiencing the thrilling dolphin shows. Watching these majestic creatures perform their acrobatic feats in perfect synchrony with their trainers was an awe-inspiring sight. Overall, my time at Valencia Oceanogràfic exceeded all expectations. The combination of informative exhibits, breathtaking marine life, and engaging presentations made for an unforgettable experience that I would gladly repeat in the future.
