Restaurante El Temporal — Restaurant in Vigo

I read some of the great reviews, unfortunately for the value, the food was not great. We had the gyozas which were good and that was as good as it got. The Tuna tataki didn’t hold well (we ate on a Sunday) the fish didn’t taste fresh, it’s a semi raw dish so it’s more noticiable when it’s old. The Cordero and the squid ink fideos disappointed. Way too much salt/fat. Two people and four plates plus 4 glasses was €66. At that price in a Galicia, food needed to be almost impecable. I wouldn’t recommend nor return....

My wife and I had the weekend menu formula, which included - among other delicacies - salmorejo with tuna tataki and crab risotto, not to mention the fruit salad with cottage cheese and pan-fried shrimps served as "entrée". All of which paired with a glass of superb Albariño, plus tarte tatin and oven-baked cheesecake to pack it all, and left with a bill of less than 50€ for all. Conocí el Temporal en búsqueda de un restaurante para celebrar la despedida de soltera de mi hermana. Después de haber solicitado varios presupuestos. El Temporal sin duda ha sido la mejor opción por su rapidez en contactar conmigo y por su atención inmejorable, ya que días antes fui en persona a degustar el menú, me ofrecieron la prueba de carrillera y jarrete por el mismo importe establecido para el menú. Ese día no tuve duda alguna en mi elección, todo eran facilidades, menú, decoración, atención ... Llegado el día todo salió todo perfecto, menú exquisito y abundante, excelente presentación, decoración adaptada a mi gusto y atención inmejorable. Mis felicitaciones a Miguel y Tatiana por ayudarme en ese día tan especial y por su esfuerzo,nos fuimos tarde del restaurante y el domingo por la mañana nos abrieron para recoger los regalos que le habíamos hecho a la novia, después del cansancio de la noche anterior.
