Spaghetti Pomodoro — Restaurant in Circolo di Lugano ovest

I had my worst experience here in this branch, I was in one day trip to Switzerland Lugano and my bad luck guided me to this branch where the service is very poor and the Staff were very rude. I sit almost 5 minutes and no one came to ask me or to provide me a menu, when I called one of them who was passing near me he showed his dissatisfaction why I called him while he was busy with others, he could call any of his colleagues to service me but he didn't, anyhow after 10 minutes himself came to me, threw the menu on the table in away of no respect, when I asked him to clarify to me something in the menu that I couldn't understand he also showed dissatisfaction, then I made the order at 3:15 pm, I really don't know what happened but it reached to 3:50 pm and my order is not ready, I called him him for the bill as I can't wait anymore (my bus was waiting), he even didn't ask me the reason that Im leaving, I paid the food that I didn't have and left Lugano without lunch. It's not about money at all, but all about respect and reputation which I didn't find in this place. To be clear, the rude staff was the one with the light beard and earring in the right ear. If you love Italian cuisine and you know as well how it’s really done, avoid this restaurant like hell. Food is not poisonous and if you’re hungry enough you may find nourishment to sustain yourself. But Italian cuisine is something else. My wife took spaghetti carbonara and asked before hand if they were done following the original recipe, i.e. without milk, cream or any diary, because she is intolerant to lactose. And the dish came. It wasn’t the creamy gorgeous spaghetti dish you would expect. It was rather on the side of a spaghetti omelette with carbonized stripes of meat, that was impossible to recognize as guanciale. Horrible. But she was hungry and she ate it even if it was a joke of a carbonara. And this wasn’t the only thing amiss. Half an hour later, the digestive trait gave is verdict: the dish contained in fact a lot of lactose: pre processed food? Industrial sauce? simple incompetence? Who knows. Pasta is the flag dish of this place. If this is it’s standard quality… there are certainly other options in the same price range, or even lower, because Spaghetti pomodoro is not cheap,...

Racism - Never recommend and bad listed

We were asian and can speak very fluent English. At the time when we entered the restaurant, there were 10-15 empty tables (and most of them were not reserved). We told the staff we wanted a table for three, they brought us to the furthest table away from the entrance and it was just next to the toilet. We waited patiently the menu but to no avail. We walked down the aisle and asked the staff if we can change our seats but they claimed the tables were all "reserved" and we asked actively for the menu. We waited another 10mins for the staff to come to take our orders but it seemed no staff were aware of us. We felt being isolated because they placed us in a table that no staff could really see us even if we waved our hands. We started to realise that was a signal of racial discrimination and decided to leave. When the staff saw us leaving, she looked very indifferent and turned around like she hadn't seen us.
