This museum is a gem. The building in itself justifies a visit. Also, it has a wonderful cafe in the first floor. The collection is rich and arrange with care. However, the exhibition before entering the collection made my visit a fantastic experience. The room was arranged to make visible the members of the different nations one would find in the main exhibition. Artists and activists from some of the different groups were invited to interact and choose an object from the collection and then tell their experience and reflection. Even if other museums in Europe are engaging in similar processes (all to be celebrated!), the MEG stood up for me and touched me particularly.
