Meg is one of those delightful gems you find while exploring the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this charming place embodies the warmth and hospitality that Switzerland is renowned for.

Upon arrival, the ambiance is inviting, with a blend of traditional Swiss architecture and modern comfort. The staff is exceptionally friendly, always eager to share recommendations for local attractions and culinary delights.

The menu is a delightful exploration of Swiss cuisine, featuring classic dishes like fondue and raclette, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is beautifully presented, bursting with flavors that celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Switzerland.

The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Whether you choose to dine indoors, surrounded by rustic decor, or enjoy the stunning views on the terrace, Meg offers a memorable dining experience.

In addition to the food, Meg's selection of Swiss wines complements the menu perfectly, showcasing the diverse viticulture of the region.

In conclusion, Meg is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Swiss flavors while enjoying a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly...

The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the diverse cultures of the world, with an impressive collection of artifacts and exhibits that span continents and time periods. The displays are thoughtfully curated, and the use of modern, interactive technology enhances the experience.

The museum's layout is spacious, allowing you to move freely between different sections, from African and Asian cultures to indigenous peoples of the Americas. Each exhibit tells a rich, nuanced story, and the information is presented in multiple languages, which is great for international visitors.

What stood out to me was the museum's emphasis on respectful cultural representation and its efforts to involve the local community. The temporary exhibitions is interesting too and often tackle contemporary topics in a...

This museum is a gem. The building in itself justifies a visit. Also, it has a wonderful cafe in the first floor. The collection is rich and arrange with care. However, the exhibition before entering the collection made my visit a fantastic experience. The room was arranged to make visible the members of the different nations one would find in the main exhibition. Artists and activists from some of the different groups were invited to interact and choose an object from the collection and then tell their experience and reflection. Even if other museums in Europe are engaging in similar processes (all to be celebrated!), the MEG stood up for me and touched me particularly. I encourage you to visit this museum and reflect with them about the events that made possible...

Once I figured out how to get in the building, it was pretty nice. You can take bus #2 to the Musuem of Ethnography stop and the Musuem is across the street in the modern building. You have to walk around the building and the entrance is not very clearly marked. The older building that says "museum of ethnography" is not actually the museum. I went on a free day (1st Sunday of the month) so only the permanent exhibition was open. It was fairly interesting and offered a little explanation about why the artifacts were important, but didn't go into too much detail. Plenty of interesting things to do but it's fairly small. I saw everything in maybe 20 to 30 minutes. The MEG is near the Modern Art Museum and Swiss Watch Museum but the rest of the area is mainly residential.

I suggest that you visit this museum because the entrance is free and it contains some interesting material. There are 2 main parts: the first exhibition is called "Encounters", with videos of people from all over the world telling their stories centered around objects from the museum collection, while the second exhibition is called "The Archives of Human Diversity" and displays more than 1000 objects of cultures coming from all the five continents.
