This is a great use of space I must say. To host a flower market right underneath a flyover bridge. It’s used as a carpark on the weekdays to cope with the lack of parking in Taipei city. This is a weekend market only and closes on the traditional holidays such a the lunar new year.
The flower market is very well organised. Starting with plants, flowers, pots and vases then finally fruits.
There are a great variety of freshly cut flowers and seasonal plant for sale. They are inexpensive and would add nicely to your home both indoors and out. That is if you live in Taiwan.
For the others you can try the many snacks and fruits such as mango, custard apples to name a few to bring back for desserts.
You can can train and get off at Daan Park and a short walk to the market. On the opposite side of entrance of this market is the jade market is which I recommend...

As Just discovered today BEITOUs FLOWER MARKET on LIXIAN ROADS, prices & selection are incredibly better, if you’re interested in plants, have a budget and have time, set one day to scout only Check them out on Google and you’ll see

Original post: I had been procrastinating about getting plants for way too long, but I finally checked out this flower market and had a fantastic time. It served as a one-stop shop where I got four plants with pots and soil. They delivered everything to my fifth-floor walk-up the same day, so I didn't have to do any DIY at home. Super convenient! The staff were really helpful and gave me tips on plant care. Recommend this place for indoor plants.

At least a couple of hours is necessary to get a feel for various merchandises offered in this market. Half a day or more is needed if one intends to peruse each stall thoroughly.
It is not uncommon for people to pay return visits, some more frequent than others, as there are just too many choices to browse through during a single visit.
While some vendors mark the prices of their merchandises, it is not a practice shared by all. As such, it is possible that patrons could be taken advantage of. On the other hand, there are opportunities to bargain that result in better pricing.
