We stayed here for 2 nights on the 6th floor. The room itself was clean and modern, but the bathroom had urine stains on the back of the toilet where the seats lift up. ||||The bathroom was a bit weird as I think the glass separating the shower & bathtub from the toilet was missing. The shower head is to the right of the bathtub with a small walkway space big enough for a stand shower, however since the glass was missing the water splashed all over the floor. We even aimed the shower head at the bathtub as you stood in there, but water still got all over the floor and you had to use your towel afterwards to mop up the floor.||||Walls are pretty thin, you can hear other guests as they leave or are talking in the hallway to the elevator..rooms are also not that far from the elevators. 8 rooms per floor, 2 rooms on each corner of the elevator. You can even hear the other guests taping up boxes with packing tape in the room next door, quite the annoying sound to wake up to @ 7:30AM.||||Beds were comfortable and pillows were soft, sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The sink was in the bedroom, it was a weird set up. Breakfast was included with our stay from 7:30-9:45AM (not a western style breakfast except for eggs & toast).||||Hotel was right across the street from the MRT station, so very easy to get to and from when you...
Read more3/5. FANTASTIC location, easy to get to food (across the street from higher level educational institution). The hotel is on the corner of a major street, so there are lots of restaurants and small shops nearby. The MRT is literally right outside of the entrance, a 10 second walk as soon as you leave the lobby.
Stayed in room 1103, on the small side. This wasn't really even the main problem. As soon as you walked past the entry way, the sink was on the left OUTSIDE of the bathroom and actually INSIDE of the resting/sleeping area. The bathroom itself was a super weird configuration and very cramped. You couldn't open the door if someone were using the toilet. The water from the shower head leaked heavily out of the stall. We had 2 double sized beds, and they were comfortable enough. Room was a bit dark owing to the dark floor boards (probably laminate or vinyl).
If I were travelling w/ a friend who didn't care TOO much about amenities and room config, then I would probably stay here. If I were traveling w/ kids, then I would not come here.
Staff was friendly enough. We usually aren't too demanding, so not much to be said...
Read moreI've stayed at this hotel twice so far. The first time I ordered the room through an online application. There were several problems with that process and it ended up costing more than anticipated. The last time I visited, I just walked in and asked if they had rooms available. I was offered a lower price, was provided a larger room, and was created in a friendly manner. Honestly, the staff is friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were very friendly and offered me a very convenient and quick check-in. There was no credit card required. They simply needed to see some identification and noted down my information. I happen to be at on the same floor as the housekeeping staff, who immediately helped me to provide additional pillows. I found the rooms to be clean, big, and with all the amenities required. Good air conditioning, fridge, toiletries, towels, bedding, and anything else important for a good night's sleep. For the price, this is a very good place to stay if you just need a night's sleep. Excellent for business travelers. There are also several convenience stores and other places for shopping and...
