we are welcomed by the warm friendly smiles and great customer services; from the below mentioned staffs, during our 7-nights stay here (room 807) at Simple+ Hotel.
Miss Jo Chang, Mr Kevin Han, Miss Xiu Ling, Miss Jannet Liu (Supervisor F&B), Miss Claire Chin, Miss Cindy Huang, Mr Unikai Wei, Miss Xia (House Keeping)
special thanks to Mr Kevin Han and Miss Jo Chang for their kind efforts helping us with the check-in & check-out arrangements. i observed that all of them are very attentive to the needs of the guests; from checking in to assigning room keys, making sure guests are well taken care of. their exemplary customer service extends beyond to breakfast area and check out as well. the above wonderful staffs made our visit a very pleasant experience to talk about.
location of hotel is very convenient and easily accessible by taipei metro. after exiting the station, it’s a mere 3-minutes walk to the hotel. the room is very clean and comfortable, with ample space for guests with 2 luggage. beds are comfortable with clean sheets…a definite plus point for certain! bathroom is well maintained with separate shower & bathtub (depends on room size) and toilet is equipped with a bidet.
breakfast menu deserves a special mention as the selection changes daily, giving guests an option of different dishes to choose from; a good mix of local & continental spreads…kudos to the F&B team and chefs for that!
special thanks also to Miss Xia (housekeeping) for taking the extra efforts, making sure we have sufficient supplies of water and other necessities throughout our stay.
do hope my review could start the ball rolling with positive vibes, while serving as an encouragement and appreciation for staffs displaying such virtue.
it’s a wonderful experience staying at Simple+ Hotel and the hotel deserves a 5-star rating for certain. will definitely come back again the next time we visit taipei! i totally agree with the motto of the hotel:“simple is never easy for us”…i have to say that Simple+ Hotel did very well in many areas, in order to achieve this goal!

Read moreWife and I were here for 3 nights in Jan.||||This was our second time here in 3 years. It changed so much. It now had a free laundry room, electronic massage chair, electronic food massage machine, breakfast, electronic bidet which we didn't have 3 years ago.||||Our check in process was wonderful, the lady who helped us was outstanding. We were given the same room requested as before, but it was def. remodeled. Cuz it looked totally different than what we remembered. The bed was clean and comfortable, just the right amount of firmness which was hard to find in Asia. Bathroom had a shower and a tub with good amenities. sufficient space to store our stuff in the room. WiFi worked great with VPN. It was quiet at night, so we had 3 great night sleep. Plenty of english option channels on TV.||||The hotel is located at a perfect location for repeating visitors. Lots of great public transport near the hotel. Easy to get to night markets for locals instead of touristy ones. I won't name then all to keep them cool and authentic, but please do yourself a favor and skip Shilin. go online and search for others. You won't regret it. I will name one that's better: Shi-Da.||||Breakfast was delicious. However really, just eat some fruit and coffee, save yourself some room and go out and eat the wonderful authentic breakfasts in Taipei instead. It won't cost you all that more.||||On the roof, we used their free laundry and while we waited for the laundry, we used the full body massage chair and the foot massage machine and read.||||It's also easy to get to and from TPE airport from there. Don't use the hotel's direction posted for the bus. It's too slow. Just take the MRT and the express train. It's 62 minutes compare to 90+.||||Overall this is the hotel of choice everytime I come back to see my family. We will...
Read moreI stayed here for 3 nights and it was exceptional. The bed is incredibly comfortable, hot water baths are delightful, aircon powerful and adjustable, the balcony view of the street is entertaining, in a quiet street (but still with locals walking by, pleasant authentic vibes, plenty of food and amenities available including 7/11 and restaurants), free coffee and laundry. What made this stay special were the staff, particularly the female staff. When I checked in I had a badly swollen ankle from previous days' activities and the staff at this hotel were lovely enough to bring ice up to my room so I could put it on my ankle and rest. They made up my room each day immaculately. And their personalities and professionalism was 10/10, thank you ladies! The metro is 3 minute walk away and super convenient. Better than staying in the busy and more overpriced Ximen, but you can get to places like this...
