When planning for my trip to Taipei after more than 3 years a hiatus of traveling, this hotel did draw my attentions was the wine and dine. I arrived the hotel in the early afternoon, the staff let me to do the check-in procedure first. It was fast and smooth. Since the room wasn’t ready, I just left my luggage at the concierge. I stepped out to have a coffee and snack. My room was ready when I came back to the hotel 90 minutes later and my luggage had already delivered there.
I booked a Urban Deluxe Room with City view. Room was very clean and bright with decent size. The amenities are very nice. The closet located at the entrance but also be able to access from the bathroom, so it was very convenient to get ready in the morning. The bed was very comfy!
One of the highlights of this hotel is the free “Wine O’clock” from 17:00-18:00 at the Super Bar of each floor, also snacks bar with all sort of candy bars, sweets, cookies, coffee, tea and bottle water…were available 24 hours. Guest can enjoy the fine wines from 7 super wineries from 6 countries. Unfortunately I didn’t make the reservation with their Michelin 2 star restaurant Molina de Urdániz which is the big highlight of Hotel Mvsa!
Staff are very polite and friendly! I didn’t hear too much of the noises from street even though it’s next to highway. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable! Definitely it’s highly recommended to any people into wine and dine!
I had a wonderful surprised with the upgrade to Winery Deluxe Room during my stay. Room was very spacious with a long window bench and a deep soaking bath tub, separate shower & Japanese smart toilet. A large wardrobe with safety box was placed right next to the entrance. Bed was large...
Read moreDelightful and quaint hotel. It is a short walk from the station but you have to cross over several roads. It is pain when it rains and exiting from entrance 5 from the station means walking up a long flight of stairs. Not fun if you have alot of luggage but it's nothing a cab ride can't resolve! The bus stop is nearby and everywhere is a short hop on the bus once you figure out the routes. Hotel is clean and service is attentive. There is always someone at the counter who'd jump out to open the main door for you (they don't have a dedicated doorman). Breakfast that many previous guests highlighted was really nice - they let you choose the cereal, cold cuts, cheese, breads and pastries, and main course the night before from an online menu and your choices are presented to you at breakfast. The breakfast was good - they even offered sparkling wine - but it was quite a struggle to eat breakfast like that every day over the period of our stay (after our first day). Unlike the run of the mill buffet that, where you can always cut down on the amount you choose to eat day to day, the breakfast served here is fixed. Would definitely suggest you choose to eat at least one breakfast at the hotel or even go for lunch / dinner at their restaurant for the experience. Quality of food is good.We got a full bottle of wine with our room and you can enjoy more wine every evening with the bottles they generously place in bar area in front of the lifts on every floor. The hotel has a tie up with several wineries hence the wines available for happy hour. The rooms are clean and they have lots of variety of snacks available at the lift lobby bar area together with your choice of hot beverages. We enjoyed...
