This climb is not for everyone.. Do not bring your children or your non rock climbing wife or girlfriend or out of shape friend. It can be an aggressive climb. Good hiking and or rock climbing skills preferred. As others have said the climb ( and it is a climb) to the viewpoint is much easier, the climb in and out of the Lagoon can be difficult. The only way out of the lagoon is to climb back out and up the mountain. I do not know what happens if you get stuck and there is no cell service in the lagoon. If you are fit, not scared of heights and have some climbing skills you will be fine. You will want to wear closed toed shoes. You will see people doing it in flip flops somehow but not a great idea. It is a struggle to climb between rock to rock especially during a bad and muddy weather. Not sure if it is suitable for kids as it may look risky even with the help of a rope. For those who want to climb this mountain make sure to wear proper gear and shoes. The track navigation is easy, not hard to find the view point. Once you reach the peak, it feels so relieved because the view is so stunning. You can see the beach and mountains from the top. Totally an unforgettable experience. But again make sure to look after your...
Read moreA short but challenging climb to the top using ropes but well worth it!
You may get a bit dirty especially if it has rained recently. The views are spectacular though and due to the nature of the climb it's very quiet at the actual viewpoint, we were the only ones there at sunset!
The climb down is a bit harder than the climb up, so make sure you've got a bit of experience scrambling or are in half decent shape (if you're someone with dodgy knees I'd think twice about...
