Railay Princess Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

First time visit this Restaurant with my Thai girlfriend one week ago.

Second time today by myself.

On both occasions the service by the floor staff was bad. On the second occasion it was terrible.

It seems as if the very young Restaurant staff are asleep. This was noticed on the first visit after asking for the bill. In the end I had to go to the room with the Tills to ask where is my bill .... !?

Pretty bad organised , they got lots of staff who do not do very much.

Second visit today , I walked in and sat at a table. Waited nearly 10 minutes then gave up waiting for one of the numerous staff to notice that I was even there. I approached the service area.

Then it got worse , was told to go to another building to buy a beer. Upon return, it took a while before the staff realised that I would like the menu.

I ordered Beef Tenderloin.

15 minutes later the girl returned from the kitchen to tell me they had no tenderloin. So by now 30 minutes has passed..

The manager finally came to apologise and give me fruit and assure me that they did have Beef Tenderloin. I pointed out that I was the only customer and six staff standing doing nothing.

I reluctantly accepted the fruit on the promise of Tenderloin to come.

After a total of 1 hour . .

Still no Tenderloin. So I got up and left the premises

What a joke this Restaurant is.

There is no Restaurant Manager keeping the staff busy and active. So they all just...

The service provided was exceptionally poor. The toilets were not cleaned, and the towels in the room were not changed for three consecutive days. I inquired about this issue with the staff, and they confirmed that they had taken action. However, when I returned to the room, the situation had not improved. Additionally, I requested a change of room due to the small bathroom and the presence of cockroaches. Despite my repeated requests, the staff failed to address these concerns. Consequently, I was compelled to check out and seek accommodations elsewhere. I was reluctant to further prolong my negative experience. Don’t let the place’s appearance fool you. Both the food and service were pretty disappointing.

We ordered orange juice, but it tasted a bit off, almost like it was starting to go bad. Then we tried the coffee, and it was burned and barely drinkable. When we complained, the supervisor came over with an unfriendly look, making us feel like we were in the wrong for saying something.

While we were sitting there, we also noticed the table next to us sending back an almost uneaten burger, which didn’t give us much confidence in the food.

Honestly, there are so many better places to eat and drink in Railay. This one just...
