When my good friend - Mr Jae Lee (see his review further below) recommends his Rolex/Tudor AD - PMT The Hour Glass Central Phuket Floresta - I had high hopes and was not disappointed when I went in to visit the boutique this past weekend.

Jae suggested I speak with Khun Poy and I found him to be very professional, easy going and transparent about the supply situation on sought-after models. He kindly took my expression of interest on the Tudor Ranger and I will patiently wait for the good news from them when one becomes available!!

This is a business transaction but when the sales team are super genuine and have a passion to share their knowledge and expertise in watches, then I will happily shop here and hope to make this my go-to AD.

I got the 'call'!!

After a month Kn Poy messaged me that the Tudor Ranger allocated to me was arriving. I went in last Sunday and did the deal and have had my Ranger on wrist for about a week.

I asked my friend Jae to come along also, as it was he who recommended PMT to me as I mentioned before, and the entire seeing it/trying on/buying/getting bracelet sized for me was a thoroughly enjoyable process.

Kn Poy did an excellent job of taking me through it all and I can highly recommend him and PMT here in Phuket. I do have plans for more purchases in the future and will certainly come back here.

I'm adding a few shots from the purchase day - I brought my 20yr-old Glycine KMU 48, Jae came with his awesome IWC Mercedes F1 (what a colour!!), and we got to try on the newly released Pelagos 39 also. Here is the shot of the full box and papers - right down to the peeled off stickers! and a few final shots of the Ranger at home.

The watch I will briefly add is rather perfect. I am an architect - hardcore modernist so an all brushed (almost) case, a dial that is definitely 'less is more' is the perfect under-the-radar watch for meeting with my banker/developer clients.
