The Empire — Attraction in Yan Nawa Subdistrict

Only went into basement Tops supermarket. This shop has a somewhat weird layout especially where bread and other bakery products are needing to go upsome stairs to reach it from the main level, meaning leaving your trolley full of purchases behind to get your preferred loaf. Other items like pasta can be found opposite the service desk in a shut off entrance, whilst checkouts have the tiniest area in which scanned products are put for you to pack in the bags you've brought (in fairness the lady would help pack but given I always purchase more than I thought I would buy - I need to juggle the packing in order to get all items in). It is a bit frustrating to try to do all this and pay the typically 6-7,000 baht bill, while knowing you are holding up the line whilst you balance the overfilled bags against the counter and scramble to get out the one card, credit card and sign the digital tiny display with a signature that bears no resemblance to that which is on file with the bank but still gets approved and charged to my account...

As I write this message, I am at your branch at Empire Building. I ordered a Tourte saumon from your menu and I was served a spinach tourte covered with cold chopped salmon on top. As I asked the waiter/supervisor (?) why it wasn't as on the picture on the menu, he first told me the diced salmon was an addition to the tourte which had salmon inside. Fair enough... however, when I opened the tourte, it was a spinach tourte, no salmon inside whatsoever. When I pointed this out, the same gentleman got very aggressive, telling me loudly (there were other customers) "what do you want" and kept arguing I was being served what was shown on the menu. Finally, in a show a anger, he took my plate away, throw the content in the bin right in front of me and never reappeared! I eat quite often at your branches and was NEVER served the saumon tourte this way nor treated so rudely. Very...

The worst experience ever in 30 years in Thailand l Joined an event from the German Thai Chamber of Commerce. Kindergarten “management”, disrespectful, no knowledge at all. All just fun for them. The so called finger food buffet was an entire joke. Soft drinks, Chang and Singha, red wine (no white wine?!) No receipts available! It’s a business event, right? 9:30pm the so called management starts moving tables and chairs, noisy. Not even care about the existing participants. I called it out - they laughed at me. Fine, but later on not even have the balls to commit it. They think they are hip? They are an overpriced location (hard to get there anyway, too much traffic and bad public connections) with a childishly “management”. Do your all a favor...
