Visited on two consecutive days as had a really great experience there. Some of the stall holders give crazy, inflated prices. Lobster prices (September 2024) we around 2,500 lira per kilo, but then if you walk away, drop to 1,800 to 2,000 depending on the stall. One stall holder (Güven Kısmet Balıkçılık, which I have reviewed separately) immediately gave me the fairest prices so I didn’t have to barter, and after negotiations with several other stalls, we chose to buy from here and have the seafood prepared how we wanted, then had it sent to a neighbouring restaurant for it to be cooked. Amazing freshness and quality and really good value. We ate at Beyaz Restaurant and also Doğan Restaurant next door, which were both excellent. The restaurants charge a fee for cooking your chosen seafood but also offer their own seafood and meze. Two thoroughly enjoyable meals and excellent value for money. Save yourself a headache of running the gauntlet with other stalls and see the guy in the photo for great seafood at a fair price. Whenever I will be back in Istanbul I will be visiting...
Read moreWe went here on the recommendation of a local. We walked there from sultanamet along the seafront. Its a fish market surrounded by restaurants. Had salad bread and water. Was 450 all in. Great experience. Delicious prawns. Outstanding value. When you consider restaurants up in sultanamet were quoting 1750 for a...

He overcharged all the extra dishes like potatoes and salads and when we checked with him on the prices his responses were illogical and unconvincing. Fish was good but I would not recommend visiting the restaurant to anyone because you will pay on the extra dishes more than what you will pay on the...
