If you're looking for the cheapest place to stay in Istanbul, this hotel is an option worth considering. The price is unbeatable, and it even includes breakfast. While the breakfast is quite basic, it's better than nothing and gives you a good start to your day.
The hotel's location is a major plus. It's within a 20-minute walk to major attractions like the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque. Public transport is also accessible, although be prepared for a steep 15-minute walk to the nearest stop. On the bright side, there's a very affordable market nearby, which is great for stocking up on essentials.
The staff here are incredibly helpful, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. However, the rooms are small and could use a bit of cleaning. There's a noticeable bump in the floor of the room, which caused my kids to trip a few times. So, be mindful of that if you're staying with children.
It's important to set your expectations realistically. This is a basic place to spend the night; there's no swimming pool, and no lift. However, the essentials are covered: the air conditioning, fridge, and stove all work just fine.
In summary, you're not paying for luxury here, but for the price, you get more than enough. If you're okay with basic accommodations and just need a place to sleep after a day of exploring, this hotel is a...
Read moreI was very skeptical at first due to the poor reviews. We were given a room with queen/king size bed on the 3rd floor (sorry i cannot tell the size). You have to carry your own luggage up the room. The window was facing the street, so we can hear people talking on the streets. It wasn't too noisy, just close the windows to reduce the noise. The room heater, and shower heater were all working well. Room is relatively clean, bed is clean (not so scary like the reviews). Toilet and bathroom is a little small and narrow. Bedroom slippers, Hair dryer, soap bar, shampoo, many rolls of toilet paper were provided (no toothbrush no toothpaste, bring your own). There was also a cupboard with hangers to place your stuff and winterwear/jackets. It was generally a pleasant stay with affordable pricing. By the way, if you are going towards the tramvay, it's a steep hill to climb from the hotel. Everyday is a good...

This place has severe health and safety issues: bed bugs, unsafe flooring with exposed nails, and a strong odor of fried fish. The host refused to provide another room or help us find alternative accommodation. We had just arrived after a 24-hour flight with our children, making this experience unacceptable. When we told him about the issues, he said “so what’s it’s no big deal” and when we pointed out the wood floors he said it was because of a recent flooding! How REVOLTING! Instead of helping us, he didn’t offer another room, or help us find another place to stay. He refused to refund us. We were left looking for a safe and clean hotel at 2AM IN THE NIGHT with our 5 year old and infant.
STAY AWAY. The man is a scammer and we are...
