Great food, absolutely horrific service by the wait staff. They treated us like animals. They refused to clear the table even after requesting like 5 times to do so. They pay poor attention to hygiene. We were being waited on by a waiter by the name of MURAT. We think he was under the influence of some sort of substance as he was very spacey and didn’t seem to pay any sort of attention to his customers. When we requested him to clear the table he even raised his voice at us

REPLY The owner has now replied to my review and it is very clear if they carry this attitude why their staff is acting like this. AFTER we left the restaurant the staff member Murat who acted rudely towards us followed us and apologized to try and have the review taken down. We refused to do so after the poor way we were treated. Going through the comment section other people have also faced similar issues with this restaurant and have posted it with photographic evidence of this specific staff member acting out of line. The food was really good. Unfortunately we had a poor experience with the customer service. As you can see from other negative comments, there is a bad culture at this establishment with the owners always being aggressive against any negative reviews. We were served by a waiter by the name of Murad who was refusing to clear our table and mocking my friend that was asking for the table to cleared. We didn’t notice other customers having a similar issue so this may have been a one off or may have been racially motivated as we were of a different skin colour to the rest of the guests. The staff member in question came behind us on the street apologising and asking us to take our comments down. We appreciate him finally owning up and apologising for his improper behaviour, however we have left the comments on to assist others when deciding and also as a note to management to change their attitude. During our 3-night stay in Göreme, we tried several of the area’s most famous restaurants—but this one was by far the best. It was the only place we visited twice, and that says a lot!

The prices are reasonable, the service is consistently warm and friendly, and the terrace creates such a pleasant atmosphere. But above all, the food is simply incredible. Every single dish was delicious—it’s honestly hard to recommend just one. Each bite was full of flavor and genuinely surprising in the best way.

On our last day in Cappadocia, we debated trying one of the upscale restaurants with a view for a special final meal, but returning here ended up being the best decision we made.
