The Majlis Gallery — Attraction in Al Souk Al Kabeer

One of the very best galleries in Dubai and certainly the oldest. It was founded by Alison Collins 25 years ago . It is in the oldest part of the city which was saved from the bull dozers. Right next to the river, the museum, Palace and Markets. the gallery has local artists and many artists from the UK with a lovely atmosphere. lovely cool courtyard. really friendy people and fantastic and beautiful art on the walls and sculptures in the rooms surrounding the courtyard. Please, i know this place very well(not working for them) and it is a great art gallery! allways changing, great new artist and some times; classical legends... please do not confuse with the restaurant that is on the left of it!
