XVA Gallery — Attraction in Al Souk Al Kabeer

During our Dubai Tour (booked via AirBnB), before heading to the Souq, we explored this historic area across from the Dubai canal. This museum is just gorgeous and almost feels hidden. Art is abundant and gives the feel an artistic space. Given that anyone is able to visit and explore, I don’t know how guests would feel however I imagine you are only coming here for a purpose - for accommodations, to view the gallery or enjoy the restaurant/bar. Either way, seems they’ve found their niche and this is a beautiful venue that invites creativity.

Now my third time at XVA Gallery and each time the food and service just gets better and better.

The big breakfast platter they do is incredible, as is the avocado wrap and eggplant/feta 'burger'

My wife and daughter are obsessed with the mint lemonade and had 4 on our most recent visit today.

Compared to some local cafes in Bur Dubai or Al Ghubaiba it may seem expensive, but trust me the food is different class for freshness and taste.

If you are looking for a different cafeteria or restaurant ambience,then you should try XVA.its located inside "Bastakiya"(Al fahidi historical District), you won't find it if you looking outside . Interior ambience is awesome, feel like we are siting inside old traditional house.
